Let me be clear: I don't like Romney. I wouldn't vote for Romney. I hope he never runs for President, and if he tries, I hope he never gets the nomination. In other words -- I don't like Romney!
However, -- I am tired of having to scroll past an anti-Romney ad as the #1 entry on every article lately.
Why does every post start with an anti-Romney ad? As far as I know, he isn't even running for anything right now.
In fact, why should every article begin with an anti-Anyone ad?
I've always considered most Freepers to be very objective and fair-minded.
Has FreeRepublic turned into a one-trick pony? (DestroyRomneyDestroyRomneyDestroyRomney...etc.)
It has become quite tiresome. Could someone please tell me why FreeRepublic is doing this?
Jim Robinson, are you aware that this is happening?
Thank you.
I must admit that I edited my post before submitting it. I have sinned in my heart.
I'm offended by the words out of his mouth.
lol
Me too. And I want everyone to be just as offended.
That would be a wonderful world, wouldn’t it?
What’s most offensive is that his lackeys are trying to portray it as conservatism. Myth’s politics are pretty much identical to Bill Clinton and a little to the right of Hillary and Zero.
What you just described is a turd sandwich. And you’re right, it’s offensive.
I don’t know. His actual policies enacted are more in line with Ted Kennedy. And he succeeded where Hillary failed in universal healthcare. And just like Bill Clinton, he was a draft dodger.
Yeah you’re right.
Myth’s senate campaign was basically that he’s more liberal than Kennedy. I guess he proved that by making Massachusetts the first state with both socialized medicine and homosexual marriage.
Do you have something positive to say for Mitt Romney?
By the way, those so-called anti-Romney videos are videos of Romney himself talking about his firmly held beliefs and policies.
Theyre his own words and deeds! Why should he or you or anyone else be offended by the words straight out of the horses mouth?

Mr. Robinson,
1. I never said I was offended. I said seeing the same ads on every post, day after day, has become tiresome. And I asked if someone could tell me why FreeRepublic kept using the same adds over and over.
2. They are not “so-called” anti-Romney ads; they are clearly there to convince people not to support Romney.
It would stretch credulity to say they are anything other than against Romney.
I have no problem with people being against Romney; I am against him, too. The less I see or hear of Mr. Romney, the better. He became tiresome long ago.
Well, they are Romney being anti-Romney then. And on that we can agree. But they will be there for as long as it takes.
I really like the one you have up there right now. Ronald Reagan on socialism & Liberalism ~ http://www.youtube.com/user/ElephantOwnersDotcom#p/u/13/iShCXx_xZDQ
Myth was for Romney before he was against Romney.

Yep. Repetitive infomercials are annoying, even if I might actually want a shamwow. At some point, I'd rather do without the TV than hear Billy Mays' grating voice again.
That's the point this Romney bit has gotten to. How about some time supporting various conservatives who are running in 2010 instead? Don't we have some Senatorial campaigns that could use this exposure better?
I think he straightened out the Utah Olympics as opposed to Zer0's loss of the Chicago Olympics. His political record is still that of a RINO.
Maybe Jim could mix it up a little, you know have some ads where Myth is pushing abortion, then some on the Big Dig, and then some on socialized medicine.
The Salt Lake City Olympics benefitted from a huge outpouring of pro-American sentiment that emerged in the months just after 9/11.
