Love the picture and Laura! She was our lady of grace.
Me, too..Indeed....Ah sweet memories..
Adorable, I love it....just had a minute and thought I’d peep in! Have a wonderful day, everyone!
Yummmm! I’m so hungry!
Sorry, but you have to deal with the calories in this one!
By the way, if you replace part of the warm water with warm beer, you get a Hops/Barley flavor that is reminiscent of some of the older European breads.
Top with either butter and maple syrup, or sprinkle on powdered sugar and/or Cinnamon as desired.
Poor Amy. I think you are trying to do too much. I’ll sit in the corner with you and I’ll bring Christmas cookies!
HUGS!
Ohh ... you are so sweet. Thank you.
With all the rain, the soccer game scheduled for this afternoon was cancelled. I’m not sure what I will do with all the supplies in the trunk of my car.
We do have movie night tonight so we will sell a portion of it. I will be happy to get 6 lbs of weiners and 5 dozen hot dog buns out of my freezer. LOL
I’m looking forward to those Christmas cookies and I know I will enjoy the company.
Have a Fantastic Red Friday.
I went to your website this morning to order three Christmas gift cards for family members and am unable to find one that says Merry Christmas. This would not be quite so disappointing had I not found gift cards imprinted with Happy Hanukkah and Happy Kwanzaa. I find many beautiful, colorful designs and cute fa-la-las and let it snow with holiday trees, holiday cookies, snowflakes, ribbons and stars. But Christmas nowhere to be found. It is very hard for me to believe that excluding the word Christmas from your gift cards is an oversight. Kohls apparently has a problem with my faith, and I have a problem with that. I am a Christian, I celebrate Christmas. I realize that losing my business over this issue is not going to hurt Kohls bottom line, but there is a principle involved here and I shop where my business is appreciated. I will be purchasing my gift cards from Target. They have not succumbed to the pressure to eliminate Christmas from this season. They have a gift card design that actually says Merry Christmas.
By the way, today is the first day of Hanukkah. Happy Hanukkah to our Jewish friends and neighbors. We join with you in celebrating your "Festival of Lights".

I think we should all sent them email. I get so tired of hearing Happy Holidays. When I hear it I say “And a Merry Christmas to you too.”
I haven’t been to Kohl’s website. I’ve been to Amazon and need to make an electronic purchase from Costco.
Thanks for sharing your gripe, which I’m sure we will all join.
Sounds like a good reason to drop Kohl’s, if they intend to dup on Christians, they don’t need my money either!
I agree! That’s why I am spreading the word here, on facebook and on twitter. It may not make any difference at all to them, but I feel better. :-)
Thank you for taking the time to contact us regarding your giftcard issue.Currently this merchandise is out of stock at Kohls.com.
We appreciate the time you took to contact us and look forward to serving you again.

Out of stock? Maybe they should have anticipated this by making more "Merry Christmas" gift cards available. After all, it is "Christmas" and it shouldn't be surprising that there would be a demand for "Christmas" gift cards. Also, if this is truly the case, I believe it would behoove them to show their "Merry Christmas" gift cards on their gift card webpage with "out of stock" printed beneath.
I am just not buying this excuse and I am not buying their gift cards either.
Yes, I was on the road stuck in the blizzard overnight. I spent 25 hours inside my car.
My husband, a self-proclaimed computer illiterate, purchased a computer to help him with his business. After giving him a few pointers, I left him alone to do some experimenting. It wasnt long, however, before I heard a slightly panicked voice from the office: Hey, wheres that uh-oh button?
What he had been looking for, of course, was the undo key that lets you backtrack when youve made a mistake. Have you ever wished for one of those in life? A provision to reverse, repair, or restore whats been broken or damaged by sin?
After Jesus arrest, Peter, one of His beloved disciples, denied three times that he knew Him. Then, we read, the Lord turned and simply looked at him. Peter went out and wept bitterly (Luke 22:61-62). His tears were most likely tears of shame and repentance. No doubt he wished he could undo his actions. But Peter wasnt left in his misery. After Jesus resurrection, He restored Peter, giving him opportunity to reaffirm his love (John 21:15-17).
When you sorrow over sin in your life, remember that God has provided a method of restoration. If we confess our sins, He will forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
How very awful!! Thank God that you are safe!
Are you okay? Do you carry car blankets?
