Since I will be spending the Thanksgiving holiday with a group of relatives, I thought I would take the time to develop a Fact Sheet covering the things they will be dealing with by next Thanksgiving.
Unfortunately, most of them are liberals and one I think is a closet DU reader. Hopefully, at least a little education can be accomplished and some might even change their minds and call their Congresscritter or Senator. Clearly there may be a big chunk out of their wallet and some really painful health care insurance issues to deal with next year. If nothing else, they will be forewarned.
The Fact Sheet is nine pages long and in a condensed tabular Q and A format covers:
* Some Key Info
* Health Care
* National Debt
* Cap and Trade (Carbon Tax and Global Warming)
* Things You Can Do
The first page is shown below as a sample:
If you want to look at it or download a copy for your own use or handout or to file share with others, this nine page Fact Sheet is parked on the web at
http://www.mediafire.com/file/uijvtzymjzy/thanksgiving fact sheet 2009.doc as a fully editable MSWord97 file
or at
http://www.mediafire.com/file/nmyhdzt0iei/thanksgiving fact sheet 2009.pdf as a less editable but perhaps more useful pdf file.
Although allowing the Bush tax cuts to expire is not covered, analysis shows that your tax increase will be from $800 to $1,500 per year. The range depends on whether you are single or married and making $75,000 or $100,000 in wages. Moreover, allowing the Bush tax cuts to expire will result in the loss of an additional one million jobs.
Feel free to use and edit as you wish. If you have some edits that you think should be used by me or others, put them here or park them on the web and post the location.
Happy Educational Thanksgiving to all.
Brain-dead libs hate facts.

Very nice job. We are having a family gathering of almost 20 people. I’ll make sure each gets a copy.
Global warming hoax info just in time for Thursday!
