One of Sen. John Kerry’s daughters was arrested early this morning for driving under the influence, Los Angeles police confirmed.
Alexandra Forbes Kerry was pulled over in Hollywood for a traffic violation and was arrested for DUI at 12:40 a.m., Officer Sara Faden said.
Kerry posted $5,000 bail at 5:20 a.m.
Faden would not confirm Kerry’s blood alcohol level or what substance the senator’s daughter was under the influence of.

WASHINGTON (CNN) — The son of former Vice President Al Gore was arrested Friday night on a marijuana possession charge after police stopped the car he was driving for not having its headlights on, according to a news release from the Montgomery County, Maryland, Department of Police Services.
Albert Gore III, 21, was behind the wheel of a Cadillac driving in downtown Bethesda at 11:30 p.m. EST Friday when it was spotted by a unit with the Montgomery County Police Holiday Task Force, the statement said.
After he pulled the car over, Officer Robert Cassels noticed all of its windows and the sunroof were opened despite the freezing temperature, and he “smelled the odor of marijuana coming from inside the car,” the statement said.

I’d like to know what she was driving. My bet is that is wasn’t a fuel-efficient microcar or a hybrid.
Gore’s daughter sets a wonderful example for the world by driving a Maserati. The Kerryette must have something similar.

She’s now 36 years old. People don’t usually make a sudden mistake at that age. I have a feeling she was on something besides booze.

Hey, why haven’t we seen any of her ex-boyfriends on MSNBC giving his opinions on how good a job John Kerry’s been doing as her father?
Why is it the only women who wear these things are women you don’t particularly WANT to see in them?
For being related to John Kerry (who looks like Lurch), she’s not completely unfortunate looking.
She’s not a public figure. Leave her be. We shouldn’t be dragging the Bush twins, Cheney’s lesbian daughter, Palin’s recetnly knocked-up daughter, or the Obama girls over the coals for their mistakes ... and we shouldn’t be worrying about John Kerry’s offspring.
