Yeah, Shannon mentions that from time to time, and I point out there weren’t any short, fat calicos in ancient Egypt.

“Cat iz Gawd”

When we start devotions before going to sleep each night, as soon as we pick up the Bible one of our cats, Ginger, runs to the bed, gets between our pillows, and sits there respectfully (it seems that she’s listening) until we’re through. After prayer, she leaves. It’s hilarious!

So is my boss-kitty.

That is EXACTLY what it looks like at my house (eight of them) when the kitty wars start. It’s all either pergo or vinyl and they skid all over it.

How did you catch them all if they were wild? (I’m having a similar problem.)

Back then I bought a double ended trap from the local feed store. It took several weeks to capture them all, but often up to five or six at a time would be in the trap.

I recall too that many of the smaller kittens we were able to tame and pick them up over a short period of time, so they weren’t all that difficult to deal with. The sad part is that coincidentally the prettiest, and sweetest of all the kittens were the ones that had the Feline Leukemia, and had no choice but to eliminate. It was a heart breaker, but necessary.

The trap I paid $125.00 for back then at the feed store I’ve seen much, much cheaper elsewhere since. I believe I saw the traps at Harbor Freight Tools, PetSmart, and some other chain equipment stores.

Good Luck, and I hope everything turns out well for you, and the cats.
