It’d be a wicked shame if a Bahstan accent weren’t on that list.

Those are some very unsexy accents. Certain accents from western India are sorta sexy, though an Indian girl with a Posh English accent is considerably sexier.

Is it the same if it is a woman speaking it?
For gals from the States it is Texas first, then I suppose Southern gals that I like to hear. Although was in Southern Virginia once and every other sentence from me was “excuse me?” it was so thick.
So, from a gal it sounds sexy (not quite the right word, but you know what I mean). But from a guy - yes, I might think “ignorant hick”.

They are wrong; the Highland Scots accent is the best.

I actually get turned on by women with russian accents. polish accents too. Also german or scandinavian accents...when women have those, it makes me think of the old bavarian milk maids or pauli girl beer.
Hindi accents??? uhhh, no. not a chance.

LEAST sexy accents: Russian, southern Californian, northern California.
I don't know if you are referring to guys here, but a Russian accent on a woman is extremely sexy. As far as comparing American dialects, I'd be willing to bet money that if we took a poll, the New York/New Jersey accents would be well, well below any of the California dialects in terms of sexiness. Easily. A strong New York accent can make even the hottest woman unbearable. Think Fran Drescher.

Sorry, but I was referring to Russian FEMALE accents, which remind me of gold-digging c-nts from a failed "world power." Not sexy at all.
BTW: There is no such thing as a "New Jersey" accent. Most Jerseyites talk with a generic mid-Atlantic accent that is slightly influenced by NY in the NErn part of the state, and by Philly in the SW part of the state.
There is nothing more annoyingly bland than the Southern Calipornia accent. Folks who pronounce marriage as "mairage" should not be allowed to breed.

Yes, that is why I lumped New York/New Jersey together. To my ear, New Jersey just sounds like a slightly watered down version of New York, and both of them sound like nails on a chalkboard. The valley girl/hippie/surfer/stoner accent of So Cal (and parts of Nor Cal) can be annoying, but, thankfully, most people don't talk like that where I live.
