1 stone = 14 pounds per Google. I learn something new everyday.
I don’t think bariatric or any other surgery will help him unless he fixes his head. I’ve seen folks gain weight after initially losing it from the surgery.
14 lbs per stone
70x14=980lbs
That’s more than some horses.
I’m surprised they’re taking him in.
He weighs 70 stone?! Gads, that is one hefty fella! I feel “hefty” at 15st and I stand at 6’ 1”.
How do those people get so fat? The sun comes up and shines in the window, and then there's chores to do. Chocolate, beer, and coffee are afternoon luxuries. Someone isn't doing daily chores.

If he's been in bed, how's he getting all this food? Someone is bringing it to him, that's how. Why didn't they try to control his intake?
These kind of stories always make me ask, 'where do they get the money for all that food'? I make a pretty good salary and no way could I afford all the food that these super obese, HOUSEBOUND, folks eat. The food stamp allotment wouldn't be near enough to pay for all the food these people eat, so how do they do it?
Suprised his heart is still functioning.
70 stone equals 980 pounds (LB)

I’ve often wondered why some hockey team doesnt hire a guy like that for goalie.
Wow That’s big. It ought to be a rule in that house or any house with one of these gigantic folks: Until you can walk to the store on your own, you’re getting salad. Meanwhile, we’re sound-proofing your room, so we don’t have to listen to the whining.
just one Thin Mint?
