A family has been caught after vacationing at an Eilat hotel with no less than 63 towels and 370 bags of Elite coffee.
The theft might never have been discovered had not police arrived at the family's home in the middle of the night, a few hours after the family returned home, on suspicion that drugs were concealed in the house.

Idiots, you’re supposed to sneak down to the laundry and steal underwear.
Back in my younger days....on occasion I would wake up and take a shower and find one of our Hotel Towels as the du jur towel.....ahhhh fond memories
If you find evidence of another crime, you can't use it in court.
I guess it's different in Big Brother Land.
You have uncovered my nefarious plan.

I was TAD to S-5 on the "G-Dub." They had some nice towels and bathrobes for VIP guests! Sadly, I never did get around to tossing a few mementos into my seabag. Anyways, not worth going to mast over.
I remember it well, Ern. Clinton surrounded himself by the worst, rather than the best. Honorable, decent people would not have put up with him and defended him.

Most of the hotels I’ve been in will encourage you to take home the little shampoos and moisturizers. But towels? Uh, I don’t think so.
That’s ok. Of all the places I’ve stayed, none of them had nice towels, and that includes the more “deluxe” accomodations.
I'm kinda guessing that one of Zero's first "Perk Orders" was to double the bling supply for his traveling Air Force One entourage....there's gotta already be quite a few in "the community" flashing some 'looky here' stuff on the streets of South Central around various ACORN facilities. Street Creds.
Some people are too lazy or cheap to buy a set of towels.
I'm too lazy and too cheap to buy a set of towels that large. I wonder where they thought they would store than many clean towels, and what they planned to do with the dirty ones that they thought they needed a supply that large before doing their laundry. Besides being dishonest, it's stupid.
Maybe they thought it meant “Sheraton Provides.”
I spent four years in Havana, and got out of there every chance I had. Every time I did, I stayed in hotels in Washington and Miami, and every time I did, I cleaned out all the freebies, and gave them to my maid when I got back to Havana. She and her relatives REALLY appreciated the largesse of the U S hotels.
I found a hotel towel among my things after a trip once (mixed in with wet swim suits).......talk about guilt. I do not even take the freebie soaps and shampoos. I have my own and consider it a waste to even use theirs.
They didn’t just take what they found in their room, they got into a storeroom to steal that much stuff.
I had forgotten that story.
I was referring to the way they stole antique furniture and other public property when they vacated the White House 1/20/01.
The ironic thing is that I sent an email to the White House in ‘98 at the time of the impeachment calling for Bubba to resign, I then added the following PS:
“Leave the silver and linens, they belong to us.”
One can never have enough coffee.
I’ve been afraid to try that since I saw “Midnight Run”.
