Of course he’s been dead since 2001 and she’s trying to sell books.
Free love is not so free. It carries a price
I have no idea if this is true, but wouldn’t put it past Mackenzie to make this stuff up for food money. From what I’ve been able to tell, hers is a wasted, pointless life.
They were consenting adults. Who’s to judge?
What a sick f&^k!!!
I recall her being on One day at a time.
After the first couple of episodes, it was pretty obvious she was wasted most of the time. Producers must have caught on, her part got smaller and smaller.
I don’t know if this is true or not. I’ve have my failings, that I deeply regret, but I have never, ever done anything close to that.
Even a has-been rock star must have access to a lot of stupid groupies. Why would he molest his own daughter, unless he was really messed up in the head?
It is a sad thing when parents abuse their parental authority.
We have a situation where we can believe:
1) McKenzie Phillips has fallen so low that she will destroy her dead father’s reputation for another fix.
or
2) John Phillips was so low that he repeatedly had sex with his daughter.
Nice family either way.
Please dear Gawd, no pics.....
Gives a whole new meaning to “California Dreaming”.
sick bump
And I'd shout "WHO'S YOUR DADDY? WHO'S YOUR DADDY???? WHO'S YOUR DADDY?!!????"
I once read a long interview with John Phillips, and it sounded as if back in the day, the group members (with the possible exception of Mama Cass) would jump anything with a pulse. Of particular note was Michelle Phillips, his erstwhile wife, who would have extramarital trysts in the adjoining bedroom while he was up at night writing songs. One of her favorites was Denny Doherty, the other male singer in the group.
Since reading that I have never been able to listen to their music the same way.
“Words of Love So Soft and Tender Won’t Win a Girl’s Heart Anymore”......what the hell do you suppose was going on when THAT line was being written??
No wonder she always looked to be in such pain. I remember watching her sitcom with Valerie Bertinelli way back when. That poor girl has always seemed disturbed. No wonder she was on drugs.
Ummm, liberals, right?
Mrs. Springman is watching Opra right now, she had abortion, didn’t know if it was her boyfriends or her fathers.
Explains a lot on the show now. Just thought she was a dopie.
(And I can’t spill worth sheet, just for the record)
I’ll tell you something even more scandalous (confidentially, of course!) When I was a young lad of 7, my first cousin, who must have been 11 at the time, showed me her pee pee, and I showed her mine!
