Black Helicopters over Pittsburgh

Yesterday and last night, there have been heavy helicoptor traffic over Pittsburgh. Apaches flew overhead yesterday and I dont know what the hell was flying last night, but whatever it was, it was low. The G20 summit is coming to town, so one could see the State Police choppers flying around, but Apaches are tank killers. Will protestors have armor? Anyone have any ideas? Take all pictures of Pittsburgh while it still exists, because after the Anarchists and other assorted goofballs get done with us, the Steel City will look like Stalingrad.

Paranoid maybe. But when you look at what those protestor did in other cities, maybe paranoid is a good thing.
I dont know what those choppers were doing, maybe they were on a training hop. All I can tell you is what I have seen.

Yeppers. The Local hosptals got all their DECON units ready and have been practicing using them.
They found one stockpile in a building that had two 55 gal drums, one filled with number 1...and the other filled with number 2 and some sort of fluid that breaks it down. They also found supersoaker squirt guns for use agaisnt Cops and guards.
Mayor Luke should be committed to the nuthouse for agreeing to host this diaster.

I was driving though Downtown (or as the natives would say, “Dahn-tahn”) today on my way back from church and spotted a few military vehicles filled with what looked like National Guard. Probably prepping for the G-20.

Could be. I'm staying away from Downtown. I'm a delivery driver for auto parts but I don't go that far, the nearest I go is Avalon. I stick to Eastern Beaver and Western Allegheny Counties. I'll have my scanners ready.

Did your scare happen when durning the Clinton Admin? I remember the army did a midnight helicopter pratice and didnt tell anyone. One night the helicopters started to drop ropes and soliders repelled down ropes, much to the shock of sleepy citizens and amzed law enforcement who wasnt told a thing about it. Kind of Obamas joyride with Airforce one over NYC.
Anyone wishing to do business in downtown Pittsburgh better be warned. It is going to very bad. The Mayor dont really understand what he did?

It was around 1995, IIRC. I remember Chris Moore on KDKA-AM radio got a lot of black helicopter calls on his show and he dismissed them until they flew by his window in Gateway Center. I picked them some of their comms on my scanner. I'm very leery about having this thing here in Pittsburgh, I'm afraid it is going to be a mess that will make the MLK riots of 1968 look like a picnic.

Here in southeastern Nevada I don’t often see helicopters, but there is almost constant weekday military air traffic. This traffic is especially curious at night when it causes window panes to vibrate for 30 to 40 seconds, or when a 10:00 P.M. sonic boom pops me out of the recliner, or when there are several aircraft filling the night sky, but some of them make no sound. So seeing a few helicopters flying around doesn’t seem so remarkable. (By the way, Groom and Papoose Lakes are about 60 miles west of here.)

You saw them...lots of people I know did....the Feds are getting ready for the big G-20. I know a kid who attends Duquesne University and starting yesterday he is not allowed to sign anyone into his dorm room...only students who live in that dorm are allowed into the building. Don’t go near town Thursday or Friday, it’s going to be a zoo..I heard no one is allowed downtown unless they have valid i.d. proving they live down there.

Yeah, I'm staying away, don't go downtown much but it gives me more the reason to stay out. I wonder why they picked Pittsburgh for the G-20, I mean it is like holding it in Little Rock, Arkansas. I do have one theory though, Zero did it to thank his Pennsylvania minions for delivering the Commonwealth to him electorally. I am home, my day off, and the news already showed a bunch of globull warming hippies mouthing off downtown. I was just buzzed by two Black Hawk helicopters, scared my poor cats too. Wish this stupid thing wasn't here, it solves nothing, ties up traffic, brings in the riff raff (both hippie and useless world leaders), riots and it just gives them the excuse to spend money and go on junkets.

I heard the hospitals are cutting back because of this but I would call them and check and make sure. I believe you should be able to go there, they are in the Oakland section but again, call and make sure.

I agree, one more reason to stay out. Quinn said this morning they're holding it here b/c our boy/man mayor was the only city leader dumb enough to say yes. Every other mayor had the sense to say no thanks. I heard a news clip of a bunch of protesters yelling about jobs, they had set up a tent city someplace....if you have time to set up and stay in a 'tent city' for days I'm not surprised you don't have a job.

Of course 6:30 p.m. is a crazy time to drive on 5th Ave in Oakland any day so leave yourself a little extra time
