I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My brother was killed a few years ago in a construction accident. I know how you must be feeling right now. As trite as it may sound...time does heal all wounds, even broken hearts.

Meek, I’m terribly sorry for your loss. Know your friends and your Lord are with you and your family. My brother passed away from a heart attack when he was just 30 years old. I know the pain, but I also know he walks with me still, on the other side of the curtain. He will live on in you and his other loved ones. Peace and love.

I got an email from SIL Kathy last night around 6 p.m.:

HI Ricky - just talked to the Medical Examiner’s Office - he is out of town and won’t be able to do the exam until Friday morning. They don’t expect it to be an invasive exam, so they must have some idea of the cause of death. I’m to call them on Friday around 10:00 to get the info on the death certificate. Tomorrow we will call the mortuary to have him cremated. I’ll let you know when I know more.
