Right idea. Wrong time.

But it does beg the question: why did they wait 7 years to do it?

Ah, I understand now. Perhaps I would have done it differently but it was done to fulfill his last wish. Motes and beams.

It may be a little weird but I think they were simply trying to honor their son’s wish.

I thought it was touching that they fulfilled their son’s wish. It is beautiful. I hope they stay married forever and have many more children.

Better late than never...? Lucky 7 doesn't fit this sad scenario.

This horrific accident happened less than a mile from where I work. Lots of heroes jumped out of their cars and all injured were removed from the cars before police/fire dept arrived. I think Asa was on life support a couple of days.

It didn’t seem weird when the marriage was reported on TV.
I pray the marriage “sticks”.

They got married after he died? Was it his dying wish? Or had he been asking them for 7 years (or since being able to speak) to get married? If so, then it was selfish of them to not get married when they had a son already and waited until a tragedy (his death) to get married.
