I don't enjoy Sean's radio show. It's too predictable, and he plays the nice guy too much. Any thoughts?
Oh so you’re a BC psycho who sees the world through a carbon nanotube.
Coulter, Boortz, and Ingraham are awesome, along with Beck, Rush, Levin, and Savage.
I liked it better when it was Hannity and Colmes. The program seemed more serious and dealt with issues directly . He has too many cutsy things now, and even the American Panel is boring. Some of the guests just want a stage for themselves.
Sean is best when he leads head on with someone. He can be a pit bull at times, but it is never a bore when he has his facts down straight.
You are right. I’m a talk show junkie and I turn him off at times—too boring. I can’t stand when he has people on to have a debate—then they talk over each other.
The absolute best talk show is Quinn and Rose (although I don’t like Rose) but I love Quinn. I don’t think anyone works harder than he does, and he’s not afraid to bring up anything. His website: www.warroom.com You can check to see if he’s on in your area—in the a.m. from 6-10.
?
What?
Huzzah!
I would agree. Colmes leaving has made him soft.
During the 2004 election my brothers and I went to one of his live shows. During a commercial break I made my way to the front and was trying to snap a picture of him and every time I would get a shot somebody would walk in front of him. He noticed, got up and called me over and had one of the staffers take a picture of us together so I'm a fan just because I think he is a hell of a guy.
Never heard of him. Who is he?
parsy, whose car radio is currently dead
Sean essentially campaigned for Schwarzennegger in Calif; he campaigned for Rudy. A republican from NY is not the same as a republican from say, Texas.
What does your screen name mean?
You wish.
He throws a football before going to break...
While it’s easy to critique Sean’s weaknesses, I prefer to cheer his strengths.
He is a LOYAL conservative.
He fights like a BULLDOG.
He is trustworthy and dependable, and he is heard or seen by a lot of people who are not maybe as politically astute as yourself (any of you). His influence helps the conservative cause.
He does a LOT of work for the troops.
He appears to need little sleep; he’s a dogged workhorse.
He is a VERY good man to have on the team.
Boortz and Ingraham are so incredibly boring and they are anti_Constitutionalists. They are just kissing Obama’s arse because they are afraid Van Jones and O’s Fairness thugs will ban their shows. They are cowards.
Profiles in cowardice.
Heck yes! ‘Bout the first time Sean popped out with some “death panel” drivel, Ed would be hitting his “Psycho Talk” beeper. It would be quite a cat fight.
parsy, who ain’t one to go ‘round stirring up trouble
(Vanities are frowned upon here. Very often those who post them only a short period after joining are viewed with suspicion. They may likely be trouble makers, just here to stir up trouble)
Welcome to FReeRepublic.
We are still free to listen to any show we wish, for now, so I suggest you turn the dial to 710 WOR. Steve Malzberg is a wonderful radio host (4-6pm). Preceding Malzberg is Mr Independent, Lou Dobbs, now who can resist that!
Enjoy.
Here you go. You can pretty much listen to who you want, when you want:
