Krauthamer blames Rush
Special Report w. Bret Beier | 8/10/09 | Self

Posted on 08/10/2009 4:56:39 PM PDT by charmedone

Tonight's panel took a look at the disruptions at various 'town hall' meetings. Mort and Charles both through the blame at Rush Limbaugh and said he was responsible for the yelling matches at these events.

What a total lack of understanding! None of the 'disruptions' occurred until Obama called on SEIU to HIT BACK HARDER!

It doesn't take a genius to realize that the source of the problems is SEIU and their thuggery.

I really believe Charles needs to wander outside of the I95 and see what is really happening.

Very dissapointing analysis on their parts.

What a total lack of understanding!

I've never been so mad at Mort and Charles was just wrong. Demonstrably wrong. No doubt.

They both saw snapshot polls that said more people thought the town hall protests were staged and they drew their conclusions from that IMO. But those polls, by the end of the week, will be reversed I think.

Real, regular people are getting pretty fed up with being called every name in the book whenever they try - almost always unsuccessfully - to make their honest and considered views heard. If anyone ever gets a straight forward question asked the pro-0bamcare representative changes the subject by insulting and accusing the asker of the question of impure motives.

People need to start answering back by saying something like "how dare you pretend to read my mind. Take me at my word and answer my question."

No - none of them mentioned the violence that started at these Town Hall meetings AFTER Obama’s people called out their union goons to “hit back twice as hard.”.....

It was infuriating to listen to.

You would think a psychiatrist could identify cause and effect a little better than Charles has been this last year.

Nah, they aren’t winning any “spin war”. Elites stick together. This is how Washington views the American people. Rush acts a spokesperson for us so they can’t stand him either.

Mort is a Liberal. Kraut isn’t a liberal but he’s not a conservative. They have one thing in common. They are elites. Good news? The way they feel about us, is how we feel about them 10 fold.

I saw that. The whole panel was anti-protest. Are they too far into the beltway or did they have a point? I personally thought they were waaaaaaaaay off base and out of it.

Well, the news media has reported this as organized right wing crazies mobbing town hall meetings. Have they done much besides parrot DNC talking points?

They have abandoned us, folks. These cowards have presided over the demise of the only organized resistance to the commies (the Republican party). They are just as guilty as GW BUSH for what has happened. They never fight back! As much as people are starting to suspect Obama and Co. they still can’t get excited about voting for a Republican. Krauthammer, et al... have soiled the brand.
Witness their inability to take advantage of a GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY to kick the s*** out of Obama. A black American was beaten and called racist names while peacefully demonstrating against Obama policy. The day before Axelrod and Emmanuel held semi private meetings where they urged union and acorn related thugs to go out and kick some ass (”punch back twice as hard”). The guy was beaten on thursday night. Its monday evening now and NOTHING!!! They are scared of it!!! They don’t want to be asociated with the “MOB”. The Dems yelled RACE and these coward weenies peed on themselves and ran away. They would rather malign you and me than risk get any working class dirt under their fingernails. The incident on thursday should have been the beginning of a serious downward spiral in Obama’s approval numbers among white Independants and Dems. If they won’t jump on this guys then they are just obstacles in our path. I know if we stick together we can turn America around. I know it! I am so glad that I have lived long enough to see freedom loving Americans get out in the street! I’m ready to take it back, inch by bloody inch

The Democrats are determined to engage in ad hominem attacks on people who disagree with their policies, and the news media is perfectly comfortable going along with the Democrats.

Chuck will thank us when we save his arse from ObamaCare.

Right now he hasn't a clue what is going on outside DC/NY because of media propaganda.

The point as I see if of these Town Hall “mobs” is that Congress is NOT LISTENING to us out here in flyover country and would not listen at these meetings.

I am all for having a civil discussion. But that is NOT what these Dem Congress people want to have. They want propaganda meetings only - and Charles Krauthammer should know that!

Krathammer knows that - he just thinks that Republicans should only make polite statements across the hall to their democratic colleagues. He, along with the rest of the country club republicans, don't think that "we" should stoop to showing up at our representatives meetings (or offices) - just send money and trust them to represent us.

Those kind of republicans really don't believe that basic principles of small government, low taxes (only what's needed to support small government)and individual freedom are all that popular. As these kinds of events go forward, more Americans with those basic values are getting to see that there are a lot of us, and that we all agree that sitting back quietly hasn't worked - we need to show our government we're serious!

Rush is going to be mortified.
Had he been in charge , the turn outs for the turn coats would have been Guinness World Record.

Newt advises the Dems to just let the rabble blow off steam,
Palin advises protesters to show restraint and respect so we don’t get criticized and now Dr K.
Sigh...
This is a phenomenon that has never occurred before.
Protests and demonstrations are usually reserved for the left.
It’s always been their right.
I don’t think any of them, from the Marxist president and his party to the hand wringers on the right,
have a clue what is going on with average Americans.
I’ve never seen anything like it from the right.
Conservatives should be embracing and encouraging every American who is willing to voice their objections to this monstrosity.
Not telling them to back down and be quiet.

Sorry guys had a little too much wine I guess. I tend to get somewhat bombastic when I drink.

“Those kind of republicans really don’t believe that basic principles of small government, low taxes (only what’s needed to support small government)and individual freedom are all that popular”.

There is truth in your opinion and we have to show them that they are wrong about the heart and soul of the country.

Yes, you are right. I find it very heartening that more and more Americans are simply fed up and are turning out by the HUNDREDS to express their displeasure at Congress.....Ordinary, regular Americans...most of whom have never protested or done anything like this before in their lives.

It ought to be a clue to Krauthamer that things are not as they used to be. We have extremists in power in the White House and in Congress. FAR LEFT extremists....who have pushed the normally mild-mannered and quiet Americans to become active.

Just once I’d like to hear one of the inside the beltway critters acknowledge that fact.

Although I am a fan of both Charles K. and Rush, I don't think anyone can say that everyone at those town hall meetings are Rush listeners or fans.

Rush's fan base is large but people need to give the American people more credit than this suggestion that they are being led and told what to do by anyone.

I'm not afraid to be counted as one of Rush's fans but I don't appreciate anyone insulting my ability to draw my own conclusions.

Charles is to Rush like the old rich are to the new rich. He is part of the establishment and although not part of the current in group, he still has a certain status to protect. Rush, on the other hand does not profess to be a journalist nor does he display any desire to be a part of the establishment.

I enjoy listing to Charles as well as the other panel members, but it always amuses me when they appear dressed in their tuxedos and just have to tell everyone about the party or ceremony they are attending. This ego stroking and position in Washington society is really important to them. Conservatives such as Charles fear power in the hands of the type people attending tea parties and town hall meetings much more than they fear power held by Obama and liberal democrats.
