I saw/heard this as well....very disappointed tonight in Krauthammer...
Kondracke, expected it....Krauthammer, hoped for better.
This reminds me of the way Krauthammer wrote back in the days when I was in El Salvador. He wrote some good stuff for our side but he also ceded too much to the Left on rightwing and centrist government excesses. On the whole the Salvadoran Army was just as disciplined as ours would have been under the extreme circumstances. I would never speak of the Salvadoran military or the ARENA Party of the time in terms of “rightwing death squads”.
