HELP! How can I delete my account??

Can someone please tell me how to delete my account? A friend talked me into creating an account, but I have found this just really isn't for me. I've looked everywhere I can think of, but have yet to find a way to disable/delete my account. Any help would be appreciated.

He can always claim his cat signed him up, like that guy who was busted for child pornography. If he does that, swears a loyalty oath to Obama and beats up a few conservatives at town halls, to show he is serious, the Dear Leader will probably forgive him.
