Let me just say, you don’t want to be executed in a third-world gas chamber.

Let me just say, you dont want to be executed in a third-world gas chamber. Yup. First-world gas chambers are *much* cleaner. You don't have to worry about what diseases you might pick up.

Maybe the kids can do some research this afternoon.
Theory. If you fart and belch at the same time your lungs would have all the air sucked out making you pass out.

Morning, all. Got off to a reasonable start, got into work, got through my e-mail... and then went and got a glass of grapefruit juice. Now the stomach is really ill -- just like the last time I drank a glass of same (different bottle). *\:-(
Can't decide: stay in office and work (not pleasant prospect, it's Furlough Friday for many of these here and the place is like a morgue), or try to go home and work.

I think you should not have any more grapefruit juice, period.

You may be right, though it's possible there are other factors. Perhaps interaction with some new medicine. Some hot cocoa is helping; things are just down to mild discomfort now.
Discomfort not helped by having to send an informational e-mail that could wind up adding to my responsibilities. Which might include the occasional trip to India -- while I enjoy being there, I hate the trips to and fro.
How are things there today? Are the shriveled kids unshriveled? Reshriveleing?
Fall weather is complete as of today. The autumnal morning fogs have arrived, burning off to bright, sunny days.

No cinnamon in the office. Tummy much better but not enough to think about lunch. A little more work and one project is off my plate...

Maybe you should just keep a small cinnamon container at your desk. It’s even good in coffee!
