Odin, a white Bengal tiger, swims with his eyes wide open as he dives under water for a piece of meat at Odin's Temple of the Tiger exhibit at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, Vallejo, California, on July 23, 2009. In the wild, all of the big cat species will will dive under water to get its prey or just cool off.
Aquatigers with frikin laser beams on their heads.
BIG cat.
Ping!
Wow! My heart skipped a beat in fright! Beautiful but I wouldn’t want to be in that pool with him.
That was my reaction, too! I had no idea that there was yet another danger to watch out for in the water...swimming tigers. Well, probably not here in Florida, I hope.
Needs a teeth cleaning. Any volunteers?
I like the way he has his nose pinched together to keep the water out. It makes him look as if he’s pissed off. Good pictures.
You’d have one advantage if you can keep away from its teeth...hands! Hands can grip even a strong tiger in water and throw it off balance. It’s paw swipes are slowed in water by the density so it loses speed and balance where as ones hands can into the tiger’s antecubital spaces and flip it off balance. Fingers can poke into those closed nostrils and force them open and eyes can be gouged. On land..you’re dead...in the water you have a fighting chance!
ok............you do it....I’ll film it
lol
OMG Those are awesome!
It looks like they have the ability to close their ears. I didn’t know that. Nature can be facinatin’.
How to rally p*&^ off a tiger! Stick your fingers in his nose.
They don’t show his tail because he does not have one. He is a tigerfish and has fins in back. Yes, he has paws in front, but you would expect that. That’s how tigerfish got their name!
Tigershark...
That’s awesome. Rarrrrrr
Ping a ling
Got that one with the Bengal getting ready to chow down
set as desktop background.
I didn`t know big cats liked water.Scratch that off as
an escape route if I`m ever chased by a Bengal Tiger and
see water
Beautiful pictures, but must be an old tiger, most of its teeth are gone...or do tigers have only fangs?
