Hawaii refuses to verify president's online COLBs
Officials mum on images released by Obama's campaign, FactCheck.org
In response to a direct question from WND, the Hawaii Department of Health refused to authenticate either of the two versions of President Obama's short-form Certificate of Live Birth, or COLB, posted online neither the image produced by the Obama campaign nor the images released by FactCheck.org.
Janice Okubo, the public information officer for the Hawaii DOH, also had no explanation for why Dr. Chiyome Fukino's initial press release last October and subsequent press release last week also avoided declaring the posted images to be of authentic documents.
In June 2008, Ben LaBolt, an Obama campaign spokesman, released the initial short-form Obama COLB to various newspapers, including the Los Angeles Times, declaring, "This is Sen. Obama's birth certificate."
This short-form Obama COLB was released as a .jpg Internet image, displaying no signs of having been folded or of carrying an official State of Hawaii embossed seal.
COLB image released by Obama campaign June 2008
As demonstrated by a poster on Free Republic identified as "musicman," the COLB the Obama campaign released in June 2008 apparently had a date stamped on the back that bled through to the document's front side.

When magnified and reversed, the date "JUN 8 2007" appears to be legible.

When this short-form COLB was released, the Obama campaign did not explain who obtained the document from the Hawaii DOH or why the document had been held for a year before being released to the public.
Anomalies in this version of the Obama COLB...

CNN said this story was “dead” last week??? LOL!!!
Can’t read it. The type is too small. Please post a legible image.
And so it goes, and so it grows...
Despite the screeching of the hard left, the story refuses to die — and won’t, until all the facts are out.
Lots of goodies here.
Okay, I am finally fed up with everyone confusing the terminology regarding Birth Certificates, COLB'S, and so called long form Birth Certificates. I have held off posting about this "birther" stuff, hoping someone somewhere would finally get the terminology correct.
First: a COLB can be either a Certificate of Live Birth (COLB) that can be issued to anyone born in Hawaii. It includes the hospital name and location; the attending physician; the name of the Registrar.
Secondly: a COLB can also be a Certification of Live Birth (COLB), issued to anyone who wants a valid document birth in Hawaii - in other words you exist. Doesn't matter where you were born - Hawaii does this upon simple request.
Third: The so-called "long form" IS the Certificate (not Certification) of Live Birth. Still the acronym would be COLB. You folks really need to get your terminology down. Certification of Live Birth AND Certificate of Live Birth are both COLB's. The terminology you want is: Certificate of Live Birth.
And yes, many states will give you a short form if you don't pay the $10-20 to receive a certified copy of the long-form hospital generated Certificate of Live Birth.
I have a certified copy of my Certificate of Live Birth as requested in 1964, although the Certificate shows I was born in 1950.
It shows the hospital name and location, the father's occupation; the Mothers current address; the attending physicians signature; and most importantly, the Registrars signature and the date he recorded my birth in the County of Los Angeles.
Stop using the acronym COLB to try and prove your point. Once again, it stands for Certification of Live Birth and also Certificate of Live Birth.

Good morning...
Thanks for that info...
By going to 400 I could see that all of the printing on the green Hawaii BC was the same
Generated at the same time on the same type writer or computer etc
A form in 1961 to be filled out by ttpewriter would be ready made with the “name” “date” etc spaces already annotated
and the added info would have looked different...plain to bold etc..maybe a different size...different font..
This one was not...
EVERYTHING is the same...
WOW...
I feel thrilled to be counted amongst BP2 and the other Fabulous Ferreting-Out FReepers who have done such wonderful online detective work ..
(In a small way on my side)

Jst a couple of questions. Would the revision notice in the lower left hand corner of the document, the one ending with LASER, invalidate that “birth certificate”? What bearing would that have on the validity of that document?
Thanks for the updates, LucyT
Ping
On it it says: "ANY ALTERATIONS INVALIDATE THIS CERTIFICATE"!
It cannot be said more clearer that it is "invalidated"!!
The Certificate No has been blacked out, hmmm!!!
And today, LucyT, is a day of near national joy and celebration (are the banks open??? PaMom asks the question both rhetorically and sarcastically) for the momumental ObamaPalooza48.0
Later, we peasants will be ‘treated’ to a vision of The One blowing out the non carbon emitting candles on his low fat/low carb/rice flour cake, devoid of artificial colorings and flavorings...Chrissy Matthews already has on his party hat.
And yet after CNN said it’s a dead story, Dingy Harry put it up on the floor in the Senate yesterday, hmmm???
But that is the one that has been altered or doctored???
Thank you for pointing this out. It helps to clear up some confusion, but we are just all sinners!!
