Critters, Conor. If it were vandals, my dog would have surely barked her little head off. (Besides, I’m fenced in, but animals find openings.) Deer have been here often, but they are nibblers, not ‘yank by the root’ feeders. The ONLY thing it could have been is javelina.

I will tell you one thing....that poisonous plant you gave that link to is one of the prettiest things I’ve seen! But if its so poisonous, why would they still advertise it? makes you want to plant them, doesn’t it?

“How dangerously easy it is to neglect our hearts. If we become callous, we find no joy in living or serving; and life seems hollow. But when our hearts are tender toward God, understanding and gratefulness flow through us to others.

So, how’s your heart?” __________________________________________________________

No animal will touch that plant - but it is beautiful. It blooms on overcast days, and at dusk - well into the night. The flowers reach toward the moon - therefore “Moon Flower”.

The Native Americans would use parts of it many years ago for it’s hallucigenic properties - but it ended up fatally for many.

And, one lady cut the flowers, and placed the stems into her husband’s pitcher of milk, before his breakfast, planning to get rid of him. He became violently ill, while eating his cereal, and she is now in jail for attempted murder.

Glad she’s in jail. Why do people think they can kill and get by with it. Very few do, like O.J. Wonder if he’s still looking for the killer....he’s a joke and they’re trying to get him out of jail while waiting a new trial...give me a break. He will get out of this eventually!

Hey Lady J!

Those are even better than Menolly’s fire lizards!

Can I have one? LOL

Great poem, NNBob!

Is he still living?

Yes, and his scars are fading, too!

Lori's graphic doesn't need an "official poem" or anything else. Why mess with perfection?

Mama_Bear's 'original' words describe Amy's Place perfectly.

Yes, they are, Conor! Here is a blurry pic taken from my kitchen window a couple months ago - (I think there are eleven of them - feasting on seeds, under the bird feeders)

I hope you went after him, and dragged him by the ears to his parents!

I was looking out the window and didn’t go after him at the time. After awhile I figured I’d wait to see what his mom said. She didn’t say anything and then I guess I let it go and forgot about it.

I was sure I had done the very same thing as a child.

I know I picked some tulips for my mom for mother's day - and they weren't from our yard. (One thing I have felt bad about, all these years.)

Take it easier on your human self.
This is where the innocence of the perpetrater
outweighs the level of the misbehavior

I know - it wasn’t evil intent - just saw some pretty flowers and knew my mom would love them.

Another bad thing I did as a teen, was go all over town, and ‘kidnap’ jack o’ lanterns, on halloween week, off of front porches. There were about 20 of us involved, and we each got three or four pumpkins. We put them all in the principal’s front yard late at night. What a sight that was.

I have never taken one thing that didn’t belong to me since.

Thank you, Dear Jaycee! I Love your Warm Fuzzy Pic; that Baby is So Sweet, and your Frame Matches the Picture Beautifully!

I Used a Color called Burlywood (it will be Listed under the 'Browns') at this Nifty Place where I Write my Non-Animated Fonts:

Banner Generator

Hit the 'Color Chart' Link near the Bottom of the Page, and it will Take you to the Colors, and after you have Made your Selection, just Hit the 'Back' Arrow on your Browser to Go Back a Page, and then Type in the Color Values near where it says 'Text Color.' (it has a '0' by the Words Red, Green, and Blue. That's where you Type in the Color Values.)

That Site also has the Neatest Fonts Faces! I Used the Amazone BT, because I Love the Script-Type Fonts. : )
