Not really any kind of breaking news in the celebrity chef world. It's just that I like Fieri and "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives" so much I thought some others might enjoy the article.

I have only seen the show twice, but we were so intrigued with the Minneapolis Jucy Lucy that we searched for a recipe on-line.
It's now our favorite way to make burgers.

Caught the show the other day. Good stuff!!!!
We were in the middle of Atlanta on the way home and passed a ‘dive’ called ‘Daddy’ D’s Barbecue’. The place was jumpin’. The ‘dives’ are usually the best places. I can still remember as a student going to ‘Dreamland’ BBQ in Tuscaloosa. Saw dust on the floors....and EVERYTHING served with ‘white bread’. Now, it’s famous.
I grew up with ‘Big Bob Gibson’s’ in our area. Actually...I have to say...it WAS better when it was the ‘original’ place. Pies are still the same, tho. ;-)

Foodie here who would love to be on your ping list — I enjoy “Diners, Drive-ins and Dives” very much — have only eaten at one of the places recommended on the show in a city over 1,000 miles from here — can’t wait to get back to that dive again.

Has it been two years since winning “Next Food Network Star? Can’t remember another who has shot to stardom as quickly as he has.

I’ve been to the ones in St. Louis that he reviewed. Sweetie Pies is within 5 miles of my house and I loved it! His shows do make me sooooo hungry!

I recently heard him say his own surname for the first time. He pronounces it “Fee-YEDDY.” I thought that was interesting.
I’m watching the FN Star show for the first time this season. Nobody even comes close to this guy.

I've had to stop watching the show since I was diagnosed with type II diabetes. Sigh.
It really is appetite-inducing.
