Back when I was a new Cub Scout leader, a Boy Scout Troop invited our Webelos to camp with them at San Francisco’s Battery Chamberlain. I wish someone had warned me that it overlooks clothing-optional Baker Beach.

The National Park Service does not prohibit nudity on its land, A regulation promulgated in response to incidents in the White House during the Clinton years.

First they tax the shirt off my back and everything else they can get from me and then they bust me at the nude beach.

And we all know the elephantine government cannot ‘tread lightly.’ On anything.

Reminds me of the story about the NY secretary who saved her money for a Florida vacation. When she got to the hotel she asked the desk clerk where would be a good place to get some sun. He replied the roof was nice and there was seldom anyone up there. So that afternoon she goes out on the roof, spreads out her stuff and spends an hour or so, turning over from time to time. Later that evening she notices she's getting a bit red from the sun but also that has some very obvious tan lines.
Next day she goes up on the roof and since no one’s around she takes off her bathing suit top and bottom and folds them carefully on a towel right next to her. In a few minutes she hears someone running up the stairs to the roof. She calmly reaches out, takes her towel and covers herself with it. A very red-faced bell hop comes up to her, out of breath, and says, “M’am, the manager says you got to put your clothes back on, right now!” She responds, “Why? There's no one up here and I've this towel to cover myself if someone comes around?” The bell hop tells her, “I know that, M’am. But you're lying on the skylight to the dinning room!”

What happened to the constitutional right to bare arms?
A few years back I visited the nude cove at Malibu a few times. It wasn’t bad since the oldies and fatties were discouraged. The surreal part though was watching a series of tour boats troll by the beach full of badly dressed pervy tourists.

The new policy will take effect immediately, although officers will decide whether to warn, cite or arrest violators, said Roy Stearns, spokesman for the state Parks and Recreation Department. My guess is that, depending on how good looking the person is will determine if they get a warning, a citation, or arrested!! LOL!!!

Save the economy-—buy a bathing suit!
I say designate one beach for those liberals who
must swim in the nude and tax them royally for it, eheheheh! Good little socialists won’t mind anyhow so soak ‘em like they wish it on others.

Fire Island (NY) and Sandy Hook (NJ) both have nude beaches, despite being under the auspices of the National Park Service.

California parks officials can enforce a ban on nudity at any state beach, even in areas that have been informally designated as "clothing optional," a state appeals court says. Actually, no they can't.
For only those capable of exerting the most force can make their will apparent.
So, for example: if the Chinese military, en mass, decides to enforce the ability for nude bathers to bathe nude at California beaches... then all of California's court opinions mean jack-squat.
