I've never seen him but there is a hiking trail named for him around Sedona, AZ. Here's a picture.
Jim Thompson Trail -- Leads 3 miles to the Brins Mesa Trail parking lot. This is an easy trail with a 100 foot change in elevation.

It is not well know that JimThom worked as a clown during one of his covert CIA gigs.
Because you couldn’t keep him down..he was the inspiration behind the Bozo punching bag.
I heard through the grapevine that keith O has one in his dressing room and punches it on a daily basis muttering insane rants about JimThom.

I remember Jim Thompson very well. Terrific Logical Positivist philosopher but he couldn’t hit a major league curveball worth spit. He was the sixth Marx Brother, the fifth Beatle, and first in the hearts of his countrymen. I still owe him a hooker and a pack of smokes.
