What a farce ...What a joke our government has become ...Sickening ...She is IN ...They’re re-painting her office right now ...Why waste time with hearings ?
Good shot, on that Leahy caption.
A picture (or two) is truly worth a thousand words
ditto
sobering
Or maybe Sotomeyer is just Chavez in drag and a wig.
Sonia Sotomayor had the look of defiance and
fluttered her eyelids at some of the questions today.
we need one with Obamanazi in that picture.
Perfect. May I steal it for email distribution?
C'mon Graham, pull my finger and watch me make Franken fart.
Our country is soooo screwed.
Kill-rights Wuz Here
omg lol that is sooo good!
Just think - that image is the product of some of the best coaching and PR consultants money can buy.
It’s very frustrating to see Republicans facing this as they are. Numerically it’s impossible to stop. She may be as much of a surprise (read: disappointment) as Souter and may disappoint Obama. But she may be even more radical than Obama is assuming. We just can’t be sure, and it’s a lifetime appointment for someone who is 54 and isn’t likely to have competing future career alternatives or family issues to cause her to retire short of a very long tenure.
It’s like ol’ Saul Alinsky sez: make your opponents live up to their principles. Republicans would not deny a nominee who simply disagreed with them on issues (within the margin of error) but who was otherwise qualified. Democrats don’t operate that way (see Robert Bork.)
