According to Snopes this was an April Fools joke:
Have you people gone mad? Snopes should never, ever be used in the same sentence as "According to," or "Snopes says" unless it is to thoroughly rebuke this married couple who came up with this faux research site as a hobby, and who are a lying sack. They claim that they are nonpartisan, but really:
How many times have we heard that same crap from the other Leftist "fact checking" sites?
They don't know the first thing about doing real research, and how they got their reputation as a legitimate mythbuster is beyond me.
Snopes is totally worthless, except to hear what the Left is lying about.
I still cannot find anything that corroborates the earlier post and I have been looking for two hours.
Snopes came up in the search and it was posted by others my myself and others as a source that determined this was not a valid article.
There other methods I suppose we could use but, like I said, I am unable to find anything that proves the earlier post.
I think I am pretty good at verifying and having been on the Internet for 13-14 years have come to a realization
“That one shouldn't believe everything they see”.
So I ask again “Where is the beef?”.
You know that I mean no offense, whatsoever, but I am compelled to question this as it would have more than just FR talking about it or some website I have never heard of. Yet.
Post on.
I know Snopes is in the tank, but this big news of Occidental records was back in April. Where are they? If Snopes was full of it back in April and tried to cover, it’s been 3 months, where are the Occidental records? Who got them? Why are they hiding them?
if you try to google the organization then you will come up with nothing except a site that says they don’t exist, it was a joke.
I posted on antimullah and asked him where he got his information from since it says AP on it.
I scrubbed the net for any ap articles about the college and came up with nothing.
If I get any hard and fast evidence of this being true I’ll post it.
You have made that statement many times. IMO you are wrong in your assessment of Snopes. I have yet to find where they have been wrong anytime I have used them. I am constantly getting emails like the one that said they recovered a camera from a recent plane crash that showed the plane being torn apart and a person being sucked out. Snopes showed that picture was from "LOST"
Please give me a Snopes critique where you can show they are completely wrong.
