Eligibility arguments to get court hearing

In what ultimately could prove to be a turning point in the legal challenges to Barack Obama's eligibility to be president, a federal judge in California has planned a hearing on the merits of a federal court case raising those questions.

According to attorney Orly Taitz, who is working on multiple cases alleging Obama is a "usurper" because he doesn't meet the constitutional requirement that only a "natural born citizen" can be president, U.S. District Judge David O. Carter ruled in a hearing today that her case will move forward.

Ah, yes, the old “been discredited, but don’t expect me to back up my claim with actual evidence” argument. The more concise version: “Is not!” (with apologies to second graders everywhere). Apparently it didn’t get worn out from overuse during the Clinton years.

Yes, last week when I learned that the Judge was a former Marine, I become very enthused. And to take it a step further, the Judge is giving us a proper “fair shake.”

Orly2win! According to Article 2, Section 1 of the U.S. Constitution, one must be a natural born citizen to serve as President. Very, very unlikely Obama can prove natural born citizenship. He’s family can’t even get the story straight of where he was born.
