If you've ever wondered who's in control, you or your cat, a new study points to the obvious. It's your cat.
Household cats exercise this control with a certain type of urgent-sounding, high-pitched meow, according to the findings.

Mrs. Lurkin will continue to deny this — and continue to do their bidding.

My cat definitely controls me. She wants to go “night night” as soon as she comes in the house for the night. If I try to watch TV in the bed, she gets all kind of crazy. I have found that it’s better just to watch TV down in the family room and only go upstairs to sleep. The other thing the cat insists on is for me to face her when I settle in to go to sleep. If I try sleeping on my back or on my side facing away from her, she will start walking on me until I turn to face her. If she weren’t otherwise so darned cute . . . !

My cat has me running around from the minute I get home to the time i go to sleep...hard taskmaster...

“We, who are owned by cats, already knew this. :D”
I know. I am only around to feed them and pay the bills.
What a squawk when they tire of their boneless boiled chicken thighs, ground raw beef (top of the line quality), StarKist tuna, Whiskas Choice Cuts, cans of Fancy Feast, Science Diet dried food, cans of Friskies, etc.
Do you think they are taking advantage me?
To: iceskater
We, who are owned by cats, already knew this. :D We refer to our male cat as "the sultan". The cats sleep in a crate at night - or they tear up the house. If I put them in, they both come running and get right in. If my husband tries to put them in, the female runs willingly. The male will walk over to me, plop down and wait for me to pick him up and carry him to the crate. Then he will get in. LOL
