Would We Even Be Having This Conversation if Sarah Palin Wasn't Hot?
Cinnamon Girl | July 3, 2009 | Cinnamon Girl

Posted on 07/03/2009 10:17:13 AM PDT by Cinnamon Girl

Guys think Sarah Palin is hot. Chicks think she's hot, too. And she's not just hot, she has an appealing personality, and can make a good speech. I cried when she spoke at the Republican National Convention. Remember that?

She's lives a conservative values lifestyle. But she was easily torn down by critics on both the right and left because she couldn't back up her physical appeal with experience, knowledge, and media saavy.

If she looked like Helen Thomas no one would be talking about her for President.

And there's nothing wrong with that. We need more young, hot Republicans. If we became the party of young, hot politicians who people wanted to look at on t.v., it would be a lot easier to win elections.

As it stands, Palin needs more ammunition in her political war chest to overcome the angry obstacles the media will continue to throw her way.

Compare Palin to my current favorite elected official: Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu. Bibi is also very beautiful:

And Bibi gets torn apart by media around the world on a daily basis. But you don't usually hear people suggesting that Bibi isn't intelligent or doesn't have the experience to be Prime Minister. Everyone knows Bibi is highly educated, has lots of government experience, and is very smart. His English is actually better than his Hebrew and he doesn't flub around when asked questions by the press.

Palin is getting more experience right now as governor of Alaska. She's getting more saavy with the press just because they keep coming at her. But her education and knowledge needs to be beefed up. She can fudge it, like Obama, and go over to Europe and give some speeches. But she's going to have to know what she's talking about when someone asks her about Honduras or Russia or North Korea.

She'll have to be way better than her competition because she will be given no quarter by the press.

GO SARAH GO!

Sarah Palin absolutely refutes all of the tired old liberal arguements, and she does it with style and flair. That is why we are having this conversation.

Sarah Palin isn't intelligent? Sarah Palin doesn't have the experience to be POTUS?

Sarah is light years smarter than her opponent, the moron Joe Biden.

Biden got a pass on everything—even now, the White House has to explain to us what Joe sasys after he says it, and the media shuts up.

Sarah is President No. 45. If the GOP doesn’t get behind her, they better get out of the way.

I love that bumperstrip because it is all about Traditional American Values and that is exactly why a lot of people outside the elitists areas of the Country love Sarah. She is genuine and when she says something she means it and doesn’t just mouth words.

She is the best vetted of any of our candidates and to this day so-called “conservative” pundits keep going after her but some are also the ones that went weak on ZERO in the campaign. Their ideal candidate is someone from the east coast, prefererably Ivy League who goes around with other elitist.

They miss the boat on what makes the rest of America tick outside the large cities.

Please be quiet. I have a slightly slow brain today since I started celebrating Independence Day a day early...and I cannot read, think, and ogle at the same time.

Jeanne Kirkpatrick was an excellent conservative, praised by many conservative men. And hot she wasn’t.

We need young strong conservatives.

I am NOT necessarily for Sarah at this point. I would rather see her serve two terms in Alaska, make it the envy of America—follow the Ronald Reagan example—and then turn to national politics. Same for Bobby Jindal.

I liked Mitt in the primaries, but I think he would have done better to serve TWO TERMS in Massachusetts, set a firm conservative example in that state...then he wouldn’t have been subject to the “johnny come lately” accusations in the conservative movement. As it is, he probably is still very vulnerable to those accusations.

Palin has not come up short.  She was briefed by some pretty good people on foreign affairs, and they said she had a good grasp of the subject matter going in.

She had an 80% approval rating in her home state.  You don't do that if you're a blithering idiot.

Cinnamon Girl, this IS NOT some of your best work.

I'm not sure what goes on in your mind, but if a person looking like Helen Thomas had spoken out in defense of conservative ideals during a run up for the presidency, she would have gotten my full support just like Sarah did.  If you think everyone out here is supporting her based on looks, you're selling a hell of a lot of people short.

People, please... get grip.

Sarah Palin is physically attractive, but she is not “hot,” and that is a strength. The word “hot” has a sexual connotation and brings to mind images of blond hair, mini skirts, and bikinis. “Hot” would be a deal breaker because nobody would take her seriously.

She is an attractive woman who dresses and conducts herself modestly. She focuses on important issues, not on using her looks as currency to get what she wants.

Margaret Thatcher wasn’t “hot,” so I think you’re giving looks too much importance.

Bibi won’t be president here so they don’t attack him like they fear Sarah Palin. I totally disagree with your comment that she didn’t have experience etc .....no more or less than Gov’s Carter, Clinton, Reagan, Bush.

They fear her due what they saw happen to McPains campaign that was NOTHING before Sarah joined it. NUTHIN !!

When Sarah joined the campaign the MSM was in SHOCK and THAT is why they attack her. They know that Palin 2012 is the biggest threat to their socialist handlers . The Presstitutes have to go after her hard like they do for that reason .

If she were not as good as she is and wanted by real conservatives the MSM would not even bother with her IMO.

The gauge of a good conservative leader today is how hard the socialist go after them............. They attack, they waste ................WE VOTE !

SARAH 2012 is not because she is a babe albeit that is fine due the facts a shallow voter base is all about appearences just versus a extablished record as we saw with this BHO-BS !

I vote only on a persons record, not their promises.......Sarah Palin has a outstanding conservative record and will get my fiscal and physical support until she proves she is no longer worthy of it.

My opinion............Stay safe !

Romney didn’t really even serve ONE term in Massachusetts. He started running for President while he was still governor and was gone a good deal of the time.

“Hot” only gets you the first look. If you can’t come across as sincere, honest, principled, and sensible you’ll never get a second look that doesn’t stem from the potential for a “wardrobe malfunction”.

The next trick is to be able to back up all that sincerity and honest, etc. with the actual goods. If ANY of the false accusations about Sarah Palin had turned out to be true she’d already be gone. Her biggest asset is that she is, in fact, the real deal.

Hot or not(and she IS hot!), Sarah Palin has all the characteristics of the kind of woman that has allowed and encouraged America to overcome its trials, persevere and thrive.
