Man on the Moon: Moon landings were NOT faked
Scene Newspaper ^ | 07/02/09

Posted on 07/02/2009 7:10:46 PM PDT by KevinDavis

Jim Scotti takes lunar landing conspiracy theories personally because he took the Apollo missions and Apollo 11 seriously when he was growing up.

Scotti followed in the footsteps of the heroic astronauts of Apollo 11 by becoming a space explorer, albeit an Earthbound one. He is a researcher at the University of Arizona’s Lunar and Planetary Lab in Tucson, where he works on the Spacewatch Project.

LOL—the best way to handle a heckler is to ignore him. Punch him in the nose, and the whole world starts listening to him.

As they move around, they kick up dust.

The dust goes up. The dust falls down. It does not form anything that we would call a “dust cloud”.

Maybe they weren’t on the moon.
But wherever they were, there was NO ATMOSPHERE.

Believe me, we were on the moon. Tell ya what, if ANY of the rocks they brought back were from the Earth, one of the geologists would have called them on it. That’s how good those guys are.

Watch the lunar rover. The dust flies off the wheel in a perfect parabolic arc.

My vote is to let the hoax theorists continue. It keeps them occupied and away from me.

Yup.

And it’s not like you can go down to Home Depot or something and buy a rock that has been exposed to the solar spectrum and cosmic rays for like the last, say three billion years or so.

We went to the moon.
Game, set, match.

These conspiracy proponents are really lightweight thinkers. It's easier/lazier to believe in a conspiracy than it is to confront the reality of the shear genius and monumental effort that resulted in one of man's great achievements.

Any idiot who thinks we faked landing on the moon is a complete waste of air.

What it might take is someone else other than the USA going up to the same vicinity of the moon. Maybe the Chinese will do it and be able to see the American flag and the astronauts’ footsteps up there.

Oh wait, the Chinese “moon mission” will be faked also. Right, how silly of me.

Obviously, Jim Scotti is part of the cover-up. Nice try, astro-boy!!!

;’)

I think I saw a new bio of Neil Armstrong in the past couple of weeks. Was it in an FR topic that you posted, perchance?
