(big grin!)
Thank you for the ping, Kitty Mittens, and the opportunity to pray for TheConservativeParty’s Aunt Mickey.
I was just reading a prayer ping from knittnmom about her daughter and our fellow FReeper, Ellendra, who has just been diagnosed with tin poisoning:
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-bloggers/2262183/posts
She was having dizziness as well.
I didn’t know anything about it and went online to read a bit about it.
When I saw that TheConservativeParty’s aunt loves to paint her house and work outside, I wondered if this could also be a part of her problem, or something similar anyway.
Seems tin is used in paints and pesticides, etc..
Of course, it may have nothing to do with his aunt’s problem, but since they don’t know what it is perhaps it wouldn’t hurt to check.
I will certainly pray for TheConservativeParty’s Aunt Mickey. God bless them to find the cause of her health problems and treat them successfully, and may she successfully recover her good health.
Happy 4th!!
Urrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrp................
TO ALL AT AMY’S PLACE
NEWS ON MY AUNT MICKEY******Your prayers are answered******
Just got off the phone with Auntie. She had such bad symptoms around 3am Thursday, she had her son take her to the ER again.
This time the new set of eyes I was praying for, the ER doctor, knew what the problem is!!!
He says there is a large nerve up the right side of the human head, and that nerve is inflamed in my Auntie’s neck. That would explain the neck and back pain, and even the dizzyness.
He gave her those nasty nerve blocking shots (I had those for toe surgery and it was excruciating) to calm down that nerve. He has her on vicadin to ease the pain and also to reduce swelling while the nerve heals.
Turns out it was not an inner ear problem at all which explains why the primary doc was getting nowhere fast with that line of reasoning.
She will see the primary doc on Monday, which is the procedure in her insurance situation. She can be off the allergy meds that only made her feel worse, and be only on the vicadin, of which she is taking only half the dose to prevent being loopy.
Auntie sounded very relieved on the phone! I can tell she is sure that ER doc found the problem. And it is not a complicated problem either, just a nerve gone wild. Could be from all the work she likes to do, since her husband has been with The Lord for nearly 7 years now. Auntie is like me and does things for herself, and evidently lifted too much heavy stufff and hurt that nerve.
She is staying with her son until her Monday appt. I will call her that night and check on her.
A millions thanks to everyone at Amy’s Place for your prayers!!! HUGS to ALL!!!
I would love those fried onions..right now!
Praise the Lord for answered prayers. I’m so glad that the doctor found the cause and the “fix”.

Me, too, Meg. In fact, I think I will make up a batch tonight. (There will be plenty to share - com’mon over!)
P.S. Onions are known to have healing qualities. I may make TWO. LOL
Good news! Love to hear good news!
Sounds like the nerved can be tamed. You can’t tame allergies so she lucked out.
Bless you and Aunt Mickey!! Give hugs from me.
Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers.
This is wonderful news, TCP. I am so happy that we were able to help with prayers. God does answer prayers.
Happy Friday, Conor.
I will only be here for another hour or so; I’m trying to answer everyone so I’m not using many graphics today.
It is sure great to see these great patriots wearing their red again today.
TGIF and have a Happy 4th.
LOL
I’ll have some of the left-over fish.
Thanks for letting us know, LucyJo.
I will add knittnmom’s daughter and Ellendra to my prayer list. Are these the same person?
Father, thank you for answered prayers. Father, hear our prayers for knittmom’s daughter and Ellendra.
There are days during our foggy season when we don’t see the sun for 7 - 10 days and it is so depressing.
Hope you get some sunny weather soon.
Have a wonderful (sunny) 4th, Lady.
Because Obama is failin’
There could be a chance for Palin,
As long as people aren’t bailin’
Meltwater from out of their home.
She might go tripping to Russia,
She might, but please don’t rush her,
Another insult might crush her,
And send her packing for Nome.
Ahhhh ... she is a cutie. Thanks.
Amy, I would think twice about having some of that left-over fish. It is now a week old..................(LOL!)
