Thank you Amy, Auntie needs lots of prayers. She has been so healthy and all of a sudden this thing has got her. She gets horrible headaches, dizzyness, swollen feeling in her ear, neck and even her back. It has incapacitated her. She likes to be out painting her house, doing yard work, walking her new doggie (a Tibetian Terrier she got this spring), and tending to her 9 grandkids. But now she is miserable and has been to her primary doc for months with no results. The ENT is examining her CAT scan and MRI, but she has to wait until July 10 to see him again. Seems like a long wait while a person is not able to lead a normal life. Thanks everyone for your prayers, keep them coming! The Niece, TheConservativeParty

Happy FRYday, everyone!
FRIED ONION STRIPS
Ingredients
Vegetable oil, for frying
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 egg
1 teaspoon hot sauce
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
2 Vidalia onions, sliced into 1/2-inch thick strips
Directions
Place oil in a deep skillet until it comes about 1-inch up the side of the pan. Heat oil to 360 degrees F.
Mix buttermilk, egg, and hot sauce in a medium bowl. Mix flour, cayenne, 1 teaspoon salt, and pepper in a bag. Pat onion slices dry and dip in the buttermilk mixture to coat. Transfer slices to bag and toss to coat. Deep-fry onions in batches until golden, about 2 minutes. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain, sprinkle immediately with salt, and serve.
(This is really good served with blue cheese or ranch dressing.)

I agree ... FReepers are the very BEST!
Are you attending a Tea Party this weekend?
We are going to the one in Tulare tomorrow.
I'm also planning to be in DC in September.
Will you be able to attend that Tea Party and our Convention?
I'm hoping to meet lots of new FReepers there.
Have a Super Friday and a Fun, Safe Weedend.

Happy FRYday, Yorkie.
I'll skip the onions today. :)
I have been eating fast food every evening this week.
After swimming, Marissa is hungry and we are 45 minutes from home,
so it has been: Tuesday ... McDonalds; Wednesday ... Burger King and
Thursday .... A & W Root Beer.
If the weather cooperates, we may try a picnic again tonight.
She loves to go to Freedom Park for picnics.
They have an area where water shoots up from several diffent underground sprinklers.
There are always kids there and she enjoys playing there for another hour.
Now you know why I don't get back in the evenings. :)
Hope you are enjoying the July 4th weekend.
Have a FUNday.

all that rain sounds miserable. Amy you found the perfect description.
We broke a rain record and we broke the all time record for least sun. I don't remember any sun in June, but they said we got 11%. I sincerely believe that 11% was at night.
It's sad. Because of no light we might as well be having 4PM winter sunsets.
Weathermen have started to forecast sun toward the end of their 7-day forecasts in attempts to keep spirits up, but sun never comes.
Some day we are bound to see sun here and we won't know what to do.
Hugs
