my bro’s company is off, but then the boss’s daughter is getting married on Friday evening. xsSIL’s friend who is an accountant in Warren is off, but wasn’t expecting the day off. she said it seems each company is doing it differently there. my niece is off from summer school on Friday from Akron.
that’s PRECISELY why that story needs to get out there, bc it allows the case to be made, that the heteronormatives have been making all along. bill o is on vaca, as are many talking heads this week, so they didn’t cover it. hopefully when he gets back he will feature it in some way. though he is soft on fruity issues, he has always been a fierce advocate for children.
Has you neice been naughty? ;-)
I imagine some companies might give the 5th off instead of the 3rd.
They do when President’s Day is foregone. Or forewent.
If you go forth with a fifth on the Fourth, you might not go forth on the Fifth.
i kind of wished to have monday off instead of friday myself.
my niece had some issues with calc 2. so she is remediating them.
Summer and calculus don’t go together very well.
excellent!
yeah and she had to give up a summer job with the state, jobs which are hard to come by, so that was sad. but hopefully she will have an easier time of nailing it down over the summer, with no other subjects to worry about. it’s pretty intense since it’s over a 7 week period instead of over the normal 15 or so, and there is plenty plenty HW to be had.
She must be planning to do something scientifical to want to pass calc so badly.
i have mentioned before that she is in the honors program at U of Akron studying engineering. she did great on the engineering classes, but had trouble with calc second semester. not sure if she had some furrin TA or what the issue was. hopefully she will get it down pat this time.
This isn’t the neice that got married last year, right? What type of engineering is she studying?
This same story was out last year. I thought the wire services waited till August to run re-runs.
no, this is her younger sister. she just finished her freshman year, so i don’t think she has had to declare which type at this point? don’t you take basic eng classes the first year or two and then specialize?
the Beast is trying various ways to get his mark to be taken, not sure they are all the same story.
