How Do You Spell This Sound?
Me ^ | Today | Me

Posted on 06/26/2009 9:34:43 PM PDT by Califreak

I am trying to spell the sound I make inside when I consider our new so called management and see how awful things have become. Any ideas?

TOPICS: Chit/Chat
KEYWORDS: vanity
I have no way of describing how awful it all is.

There is no word or sound foul enough to describe the horror of DC.

Help!

It used to be spelled D-E-M-O-C-R-A-T, but some wise person shortened it to R-A-T after a short national debate.

CAT: Hey! I’ve got you now! (Holding out his letters up for LISTER to see.) Jozxyqk.
LISTER: That’s not a word.
CAT: It’s a cat word.

LISTER attempts to pronounces the cat “word.”

CAT: That’s not how you pronounce it!
LISTER: What’s it mean?
CAT: It’s the sound you get when you get your sexual organs trapped in something

CAT demonstrates with his hands a book shutting and pronounces the word again.

LISTER: Is it in the dictionary?
CAT: Well, it could be. If you were reading in the nude and you closed the book too quickly.

CAT mines this action and says the word again.

My dog ate some leftover barley I put out for the chickens and an hour or so later he rolled over for a belly rub and cut one that, had it been putrid rotting Chinese-made dog food & buzzard barf instead of barley, would have a stench similar to that of an elected official.

It "sounded" something like this :

phfffffffffeeeeeeeeeeeeeeoouuuuuuuurrrrrlllllllllll...rrrrrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiiipppppppphfffffffffftttttttttttttthhluuuuht!

Or phfeourl-ripfthluht for short.

That's the one thing on TV that I miss since I quit watching tv.

Cat wouldv'e made a much better POTUS than the litter box fritter we have now.

Maybe the sound spelling we are looking for is "POOTUS."
