Mrs Don-o wrecked on her bike this morning and has broken bones in both her arms plus a broken left elbow. She will have surgery tomorrow for the elbow.
I left her in good spirits, after she was given some pain medication.
As often happens, we meet angels all along the way - from the folks to stopped at the accident to render assistance and contact me - to the EMT's who transported her - to the wonderful staff at our medical center.
Your prayers and pings are requested.

Prayers from here and God Speed on the recovery. As you know your wife is one of my all-time favorite FReeper commentators, probably my #1!
Prayers for Mrs. don-o.
You.
Prayers up.
I’m so sorry to hear this. Please tell Mrs. Don-o that we will all be praying for her speedy recovery.
She will shoot me for this - maybe I can get it pulled before she gets back on.
But, her first question to the ortho doc was would she be able to internet? We’re thinking - probably so. Doc said that she should have pretty good mobility. The breaks in the forearm were not bad ones. And he did say that she would be able to use her elbow. Surprised me.
sorry to hear this don-o. hoping for a quick and relatively painless recovery!
you keeping up with bonnaroo this year?
Dear Lord,
Thank You for Mr. Don-O and Mrs. Don-O.
Please guide the doctors and care staff as they tend to
Mrs. Don-O’s recents injuries.
Your will be done.
In Jesus’ Holy Name I pray this simple prayer.
Amen.
Not much yet, Rob. I was gonna look at some of it, assuming it's free stream again. Maybe later. I so have two nephews who went (again). They have prospered well enough to rent an RV this time. Been interesting to follow all the drug busts out on the interstate. Our local boys are "on the job" I guess.
Prayers for Mrs Don-o’s successful surgery tomorrow, and any that may be required for the arms’ broken bones. Terrible thing to happen. Thank God for those pain killers.
How fortunate those angels came your way. My son had a bike accident last month and the passers-by and ambulance-hospital crews restored his faith in the goodness of people.
I had a broken ankle a couple years ago and all I could think of was "thank God I can still freep!".
Use your nose, if you must, LOL!
Good cheer and prayers,
Leni
(O.K. Mr. Dono, time for a bunch of her favorite flowers, some chocolates, her favorite takeout, foot rubs, back rubs....and finish that “Honey Do” list willya?;))
Oh, dear! Poor Mrs. Don-o! Prayers up for a full and speedy recovery, and don’t let her get too fond of the pain medication ;-).
Oh, no! Prayers are on the way for Mrs. Don-o. Please keep us posted!
Prayer for Healing
Lord, look upon me with eyes of mercy, may your healing hand rest upon me, may your lifegiving powers flow into every cell of my body and into the depths of my soul, cleansing, purifying, restoring me to wholeness and strength for service in your Kingdom. Amen.
