1 question; why isn't this making national news headlines? Because a late term abortionist wasn't in the aeroplane.

We have NO national news media anymore! A national news media would CARE about the nation.

Your link brings one to a Free Republic search page.
The Daily Mail page has nothing about this story, unless I'm missing it.
Could you please post a working link to the story?

The pilot immediately contacted officials, who brought in the Federal Aviation Administration to investigate. The FAA? While any possible terrorists were speeding from the scene.
It looks like they got around to calling the FBI a day or two later.

Missile Attack On Passenger Jet? Radio News | November 28, 2005
Posted on Monday, November 28, 2005 6:49:25 AM by texianyankee
I heard on the radio this morning, that a pilot of a passenger jet departing LAX claimed to have narrowly avoided being hit by a missile. It was reported that the jet was about 6,000 feet in altitude & over the ocean when the event occurred. The news report further stated that authorities believe it was possibly a flare or a "bottle rocket."

Why does your link only lead to a FR search and not to an article about this? Link to article please.

Missiles fired at airplanes, witnessed by pilots with military experience.
This event was thoroughly investigated by the Clinton administration and determined to be the manifestation of a faulty onboard fuel tank.
Mystery solved. We can go back to sleep now.
