Hayden Panettiere's 'Live Without Regrets' Tattoo Misspelled

Stars getting tattoo’s in foreign languages isn’t new, but unlike the general public stars usually get the spelling on their tattoos right. Hayden Panettiere is the exception.

Panettiere has a tattoo down her side reading “Vivere senza rimipianti,” which is suppose to be Italian for ”Live without regrets.” Except for one small thing: Rimipianti is not the correct spelling.

Somewhere along the line, an additional letter i was added to the tattoo, where as it should have read “rimpianti.”

Thankfully for Panettiere, the additional i doesn’t turn the word into a different, and perhaps seriously wrong word, it’s just simply the wrong spelling.

I’ve considered getting a tattoo many times — there is alot of tattooing done here in New Zealand, and some of the Maori designs are amazing — but I’ve always stopped short of doing so.

Removal here is by laser and it is apparently quite painful and expensive, and the end-result isn’t often perfect.

I can’t think of any designs that I’d want to have with me forever: what was important to me as little as 10 years ago is now unimportant. In 10 years’ time, who knows?

I remember a story a few years ago about some kid I think in Cali who saved up his money to get a chinese tatoo... the guy who did it tatooed in chineses “At the end of the day what you have here is a very ugly boy”.

Needless to say it didn’t help him one bit with his yellow fever.

She was in a pregnancy scare a few months ago. She's been dating her co-star, who plays Peter, the brother of the Senator. He's 30, she's 18.

The tattoo fits her.
