There are some really annoying liberal trolls on Free Republic who have survived for months and years without being banned. Why is Free Republic allowing them to stay? We have enough liberalism and left wing lunacy on 90% of the media and we do not need this crap on this forum.
It is not difficult to spot these trolls. A quick review of their posting history will prove without any shadow of doubt that they are liberal trolls. Some of them try to mask it but they cannot fool the vast majority of us.
There are plenty of left wing forums which will welcome them that if they are not already registered and active members there.
It is time to get rid of them.
Hit the abuse bottom on them and hit it often.
And in all these many responses.... did you ever get a satisfactory answer to your question as to why so many liberal trolls?
I scanned the first 50-60 replies. Mostly cheese-moose-sister type replies.
I got a Wagglebee ping around post 334. Didn't see anything relevant there.
But - seriesly - you pose a good question. There are plenty of libs on this site.
Libs as in Libertarians.
I have no use for 'em. I have called on Jim more than once to make a stand one way or another regarding Libertarians. But, he's too busy making stands against Romney and pleading for money to fund the FReepathons.
But still... I wish we could have a bug zapper thread to oust the libs.
I kinda miss one of them, even if she did drive me crazy sometimes.
I thought the same thing but he also is bound to have had an account from Aug/07 to Feb/09 as well. There is no way that he skipped the election and primary.
Really, if ever there was a 'big tent' for Conservatives, this is it.
While I am completely serious on the issues, I gotta play a little, too.
Besides, it keeps the lurkers entertained and helps disperse that whole 'party of no' thingy.
(Liberals have trouble with homonyms, it is the "Party of KNOW"!)

We can start educating people about the libertarians by showing people the rest of their platform.
Libertarians draw in leftists and rightists by only revealing the half of their agenda that appeals to that particular individual.

I’m sorry, jveritas, but I have to retract my post. I misremembered. I’ve found that I can’t state one way or the other what happened during the first few months of 2007.
During that time, I was in Mississippi caring for my daddy during his illness, and passing, then helping my mother settle his affairs.
I was here during the fall before, but I think that’s when things were just getting heated up. My return to FR wasn’t until after the bug zapper thread had about 800 posts.
So, frankly...I didn’t know what the heck I was talking about. ;o)

I thought you might not have seen it, I wasn’t paying much attention to the guy or his critics until I saw that thread, he is clearly out there and a real bomb thrower.

Moderators, JimRob, et al. Please notice that several FReepers who have been arguing on opposite sides of some issues on this thread all seem to agree that setting up a “
War Room” would be a good move for conservatism on Free Republic.
If you want a “War Room”, why not ask the mods and Jim to set up a forum within the forum, much like Religion or the Smokey Backroom? ***That’s actually a good suggestion. I second it.
