Onlookers, on set and at home, were rubbing their hands at the prospect of another hopeless, deluded loser being crushed by a withering Simon Cowell insult. That people want to see someone humiliated on national TV makes me feel like I'm in high school all over again.

In a few minutes she hit the full emotional spectrum from the judges — derision, incredulity, amazement, then sheepish self-recrimination.
This has gone around the world and is truly viral — if you haven’t seen it, do so now.

When you are good at something like this woman is, people appreciate it. She looks like somebody’s grandmother...I could see her baking cookies and cakes waiting for her grandchildren to come visit.

The Brits are famous for these heart warming stories.
And this is one of the best, ever!

I have played the Dream video and River mp3 over and over.
The 7.5 minute Youtube video of I Dreamed a Dream had 22.8 million views yesterday.
And that is only one of about 20 Boyle videos. Many of those others have hundreds-of-thousands to a few million views, too.
The mp3 of Susan Boyle singing Cry Me a River can be downloaded from this link:

When I received the Youtube link from a friend it was without comment. I viewed the performance and forwarded to friends with three words added.
Striking, poignant, instructive

I LOVE this women.....however.......realize that this show is about ratings. I GUARANTEE the producers know what is walking on stage.
I have no idea if the "judges" know....probably not.....it makes for good theater.

And mentioning fellow judge Simon Cowell, Morgan added: "It's fair to say that his eyes have been going ker-ching ever since Susan's performance." I told my husband that the sigh and sheepish grin of Simon's, about 4 minutes into the performance, was due to the fact he was seeing dollar signs, LOL.
Just think 50 million views on youtube in a week. The sales of her first CD will be thorugh the roof with people wanting to hear more of her singing. At this point it doesn't even matter if she wins the contest or not.

I saw a youtube video of Susan Boyle on the Good Morning America TV show. That witch who was interviewing Susan asked some in appropriate questions. Susan put her in her place very quickly. I was impressed even more with Susan.
