Testing the bounds of a pets unconditional love. He even names his dog after himself.

I suspect the dog will disappear shortly. It's intended to be a photo op. It will serve that purpose this week, then go away.
If Obama gets into trouble and needs to be "humanized" at some point down the road, the dog will make a re-appearance.

Shouldn’t it be “bho” as opposed to “bo”? And what asshat names a dog after himself.
Like most dogs, his kids will probably play with for a week or so, then ignore it, and care duties will fall quickly to some whitehouse steward, andit will spend the majority of it’s time off white house property.
Maybe “op” as in photo op would have been a better name.

Bo Knows.
Nike ad promotion from the late 1980’s and early 1990’s, which featured Bo Jackson and Bo Diddley. Jackson was trying to play the guitar, whereupon blues legend Bo Diddley says, “Bo, you don’t know diddley.”
Try getting THAT out of your head today.

I thought that the dog was for his kids and would be their responsibility. But he needs an approval bump so thus the photo ops of HIM with the dog on a leash.
You can’t have the dog for photo ops and expect your kids to clean up after him.

The news report this morning said that Obama’s history won’t be judged by the economy or his speeches, but by his dog, because it shows his character as President.
WTF?

I hear that dogs respond better to two-syllable names. Call the dog “B.O.” (Bee Oh).

Let me just start by saying “what a cute wittle puppy!!!!
With that out of the way, Obama’s being pulled around by a six month old puppy?!? It looks like he’s going to fall on his face! I’m a 5’3 110 pound chick with a 106 pound dog and I can handle him!

He said he would get a shelter dog and then got a pedigreed dog.
That shows his character right there.
Any bets as to whether he would’ve broken his promise to his kids to get a dog if he’d lost?

Teddy told Michelle that Bo would bond quicker if she had her hair styled like a Portuguese Water Dog.
