Good evening!
The hostage drama has ended well with the escape/rescue of Capt. Richard Phillips. Kudos to all involved, especially his brave crew, Capt. Phillips and the rescue forces.
Prayers for your mom, kassie.
Good Morning!
It’s raining here.
Kassie,, I’m sorry to hear about your Mom. Lucky that you stopped in to check on her.
Good morning all. Thanks for breakfast lysie. Not light enough to see outside but it is supposed to rain today. Need some rain anyway.
Good morning lady, such a pretty picture, noting like that around here, one heck of a storm last night here, rocked and rolled all night, just calmed down.

Well, I was just playin' wit chou. LOL! Band rehearsal went well. We'll have another run through on Friday night and then performance on Saturday.
I better call and warn my girls. If you had it, they’ll get it.
Used to have a cat that used to bring me little presents!!!! When I let her in the house I had to be sure that her presents weren’t alive, because one time she ran in the house with a live mouse and it took me 2 hours to catch it!!!! Good luck with catching the little critter.
(((kassie))), Bless your heart kassie, so sorry to hear your Mom is in difficulty.
Thank you lysie, looks yummy.
We drove to Norristown, PA to have dinner with my father and step-mother. It was so nice to visit - they were very happy to get company. Doreen is not doing well. It is sad to see. Sometimes she realizes here condition and tears up telling me she is so embarassed about it. Other times, she doesn't realize too much and does things like try to put her bacon in her mouth while still holding her fork. They both do not fit.
Kassie, While I was on the ranch the other day, I found 3 rimless tires. Talked Roomey into throwing them into the truck bed, so now Ill grow some Yukon potatoes. lol. Im also looking for a three or four inch diameter pvc pipe, about four feet long. Im going to turn it into a strawberry farm. Ill paint it with fusion first, brown. Got my tomatoe pot ready to receive my tomatoes.
Thanks for the information about the PVC piping. I'm going to try that ...
tillacim, did I mixed up your post with kassoe's?
My mil also sounded coughy and a bit congested last night when we spoke on the phone. Thankfully she already had a doctors appt scheduled today so she’ll be checked.
It is very hard to get her to understand that those symptoms could quite possibly be related to her cardiac condition exacerbating. She likes to rationalize other reasons why she’s coughing....like being placed on a new anti-viral for the shingles that have also returned to her eye. Well....NOT!
Anyway, as the health professional, I can’t enable her denial and must continue to try at get her not minimize her lung symptoms. Not an easy task and a fine line to try and walk.
Husband’s sister is no help either, she is happen to enable her parent’s rationalizations. Sigh.
We will check with her again tonight. Hope your mom is getting better now kassie, that was very astute of you to observe and report.
Perhaps if you spoke with the nursing director or unit supervisor and insist that the staff listen to her lungs daily (just an idea). Impress on them you aren’t happy that nobody had recognized her symptoms.
The squeaky wheel gets the grease. Don’t be reluctant to squeak.
