A doctor claims his patients remain healthy because he does not cut his hair.
The medic, 79, made the link between healing patients and not trimming his locks more than 60 years ago.
Traditional Chinese medicine practitioner Peng Fu said: "I stopped cutting my hair and people started to get better."
"My medicine became more effective the longer I let my hair grow. Now I will never cut it."
The hirsute healer now has to carry his eight-pound mane rolled up in a bag on his back, according to the Austrian Times. It stretched nearly nine feet the last time he measured.
The doctor, from Suining in central China, takes his healing very seriously. He doesn't allow patients to touch his tresses and rarely washes them.
That’s what I’m thinking. If he never washes it, between the oil, dirt, dead hair, and dead skin,....

I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't really attached anymore. There's probably so little real hair that the only thing holding that mass on his head is the bag he ties around it. It that cord breaks, I could see the whole thing just falling off and rolling away.
No built in pillow is worth that.

I’ve seen pictures of women with long hair that’s been down to their knees or more, and even braided and rolled up, I can’t imagine a mass that big.
He has something tied onto his back, allows his own hair to grow long enough to drape over it and who’s to prove him wrong?
As far as not letting his patients touch his hair, who would want to?
