After the G20 wives wowed us with their style prowess yesterday, Michelle Obama and Sarah Brown appear to have stumbled in the glamour stakes with today's choice of clothing... Yesterday's dazzling J. Crew outfit may have won her praise from the hard-to-please fashion press - but the bizarre cardigan sported by Michelle Obama at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden today was rather less well-received. The First Lady kept her famous toned arms covered in the asymmetric creation by Japanese designer Junya Watanabe, which featured a garish argyle pattern and was embellished with yet more sequins. A far cry from her signature sleeveless shift dresses, Mrs Obama also wore a teal-coloured full-skirted prom dress by Jason Wu.

Who dresses her? Somebody who hates her from high school?
I think you’re overintellectualizing this. My take - as a woman of the same age - is that the designer is ugly and wants other women to look ugly, too.
Oh my, STARWISE. That skirt is too wide for her, the sweater is too small for her. It looks like what a 20-something-year-old would wear, not a First Lady. You’re correct, it is embarrassing.
The stripe is made of sequins, STARWISE.
The woman has no sense of style at all or she would have
rejected that and the 1950’s style skirt! Did someone tell
her that the British were dowdy???
EGAD!!!
Well -— That explains a LOT!
Missing the neon are you? Me, I am fondly thinking of the Peach Sherbert Democratic Convention (to stand in front of blue and red back drop) pants ensemble now. Ahhh...the good old days...
Sarah needs to push away from the dining room table ad get on an elliptical trainer.

So the sweater also buttons up the back?
Can you even believe your burning eyes ?
As I type, Nightline is going simply orgasmic
over her .. “next, why the first lady is the talk
of the town ...........” eeuuuuurrkhh!
nothing short of hideous
I nearly fell out of my chair laughing! LOL!
Yes, she is “the talk of the town” all right. Talking about
how tacky she is! LOL!
It looks like just another line of sequins down the back. Ugh!
Just BAD!
Story #2: Endearing: Michelle My Belle Misses Sweater Button
RUSH: Here’s a picture everybody is talking about: Michelle (My Belle) Obama and her wardrobe and how she’s taking Britain by storm and so forth.
Now, I have a photo here. I’m going to show you this on the Dittocam. Let me zoom in, and I’m going to tell you what you’re looking at there.
This is Michelle (My Belle) Obama heading off to the theater or some such thing, and what you’re looking at there is an odd, really weird-looking sweater. But she cannot button it. It’s too tight. She’s also missed a button, ladies and gentlemen, and I want to read to you, now that you’ve seen this on the Dittocam — by the way, the Dittocam is available to all members at RushLimbaugh.com — the caption to the picture is,
“Endearingly, the first lady may have missed a button,” on her very busy sweater. Now, she went to the opera, she can’t button her sweater, she missed a button, and it’s described as “endearingly.”
Let Sarah Palin try this. Let Laura Bush try this.
There’s going to be such a huge blowback to this.
There is going to be such a huge backlash — I don’t mean the sweater and the fashion — I’m talking about the policy that is being done in the name of the United States.

I know. I guess class and elegance are now traits of the past.
