I need to go to the library, with a stop by our Family Practitioner’s office to get them to fill out a form saying Anoreth has had plenty of vaccinations.
Afternoon! It’s been pouring rain here, again. I took a nap with Wednesday; that went very well until I had to get up!
Anoreth will take the gymnastics people to their class shortly.
I’ve been scanning Igor’s history, since I don’t want to type it all. I’ll just go through and make corrections when I’m done. I got a third of it done today.
It’s ugly out and the bottom dropped out of the barometer. No wonder I was uncomfortable sitting here!
Someone offered me another bird today. I suspect I’ll take it so as not to let it be put down. Or worse, set free.
We used to scan documents when I was with the Corps of Engineers, but it would have been faster to type them. That was 1985-6, though!
I’ll go by the Dr’s office and pick up Anoreth’s vaccine form when I go to the OB on Thursday - same building. We can’t turn in her Direct Deposit form until we get the info on her checking account; no point in doing it twice. I told her she could have her pay deposited in MY checking account ...
The sun’s appearing, just in time for the gymnastics trip. I was going to take the Girl Scouts to the park on Thursday, but it will be way too muddy after this. We’ll have to do something else.
I scanned 100 pages, in about two hours (slow by my standards, but much faster than my typing!!) and figure if I do the same thing the next two days, I can be done with it.
Then I can make corrections a la Spell and Grammar Check. :o]
I’ll let Anoreth put her pay in MY bank account, too! LOL!
The recruiters are nagging her to get all the paperwork in, but she’s not going to be paid until mid-June, so they can just wait for the direct deposit docs! She can take them the vaccination form on Thursday or Friday; otherwise they’d have to schedule more vaccines before she goes to basic.
I need to get full vaccine records on all the kids to our current practice; there was some issue with Bill’s vaccines a while back, because we didn’t have all the records from Oklahoma, and he’ll need a full set if he’s going to go to Philmont or any of the other national Boy Scouts programs.
fwiw, our tribe is planning a Quarter-horse track,a BINGO parlor, a hotel & a shopping mall(on one property) between Dallas & Shreveport, just off the Interstate. that will be a GOLD-mine, imVho.

I just finished a book called “The Deposition of Father McGreevy,” by Brian O’Doherty. I mention it because it has some Gaelic in it that isn’t “explained.” It’s pretty interesting, in an Irish sort of way!
The weather is predicted to be in the 90’s by this time next week.... :o])

Denver could be "fun" -- I finish speaking at 3:30 and have a 6:30 flight home. No problem, I thought when booking...
...but trouble began when I tried to book a Super Shuttle from the hotel to the airport online, and the only pickup slots were before or during my talk. So I called them today -- they'd pick up around the 3:45 to 4 slot, but would not guarantee I'd make my flight. So it looks like I'll have to rent a car. Oh well.
Push comes to shove, you could always contact the local taxi company.
And say “Hi!” to my nephew while you’re there! He’s a geek, too!
