fyi, i know of NOTHING that will stop woodpeckers from pecking cedar siding, except perhaps ARMOR-plate.
btw, we have a SLOW woodpecker on our family farm "back home". he will peck fast/"like mad" for a few seconds & THEN peck VERY, VERY, slowly (like once every 10 seconds) for a minute or two & then repeat - my niece says his head must hurt.

Put some Indian ghazals on for the family this evening — they’re enjoying them! LoM says the singer sounds like he’s singing Farsi, but the instrumentation is definitely modern Indian.

Long long ago there was a Iranian deli where I lived that severed what the call pizza. I was very good and had a liking to pizza. I have often enjoyed food that was prepared by one culture coping another. favorite came from a hole in the wall ran by a Japanese family that lived upstairs over the restaurant. They served Mexican and American food made teriyaki style. My favorite was the teriyaki burrito. Spell check doesn’t know how to spell teriyaki.
