Great song.
For me it was “I’m not talkin’ bout my linen...”
Dan put out some country albums...in the early 90s I was filling in for a country show on a college station and I remember he had a song called “We Are One”

Oooops, not the Seals of Seals and Crofts.

Dan Seals - I’d Really Love To See You Tonight
He recorded a song called “One friend” that was used in a movie about a boy and his dog. (The dog died... I forgot the name of the movie)
"Dead Dog"?
Gosh, that takes me back. I really liked that song, as well as some of his other country songs. He had such a pleasant voice, not like some of the guys that make me say, “Whoever said you could sing was just being nice, son. Go back to school and become an accountant or something.”
I went to high school with Dan and John Coley. I don’t remember much about Dan... but for the music they made, he will be missed! RIP
“Bop”
My husband took me to a concert he did about 20 years ago. It was a small ballroom with about 200 people. It was an amazing concert...like he was just playing for a group of friends. The song, “You Still Move Me”, beautiful. If you have never heard it you should listen to it.
Dan Seals was a good man with a great voice. He will be missed.
I can remember that movie, but I'll be dogged if I can remember the name of it. ???
More pop trivia. Way back before Seals & Crofts, Jim Seals and Dash Crofts were in the group The Champs, which had a big hit with “Tequila.” I think Glen Campbell was also in that group.
Love one another
When you've lost your way
Love one another
And when you're all alone
Love one another
And when you're far from home
Love one another
And when you're down and out
Love one another
And when your hopes run out
Love one another
And when you need a friend
Love one another"
And when you're near the end
Love is the Answer"
Yes, and he'd "really love to see you tonight"...except he's dead.
I love Bop, and Lullabye with Emmy Lou Harris
How 'bout Mmm Bop? You have so many relationships in this life Only one or two will last You're going through all this pain and strife Then you turn your back and they're gone so fast And they're gone so fast So hold on the ones who really care In the end they'll be the only ones there When you get old and start losing your hair Can you tell me who will still care Can you tell me who will still care Mmm bop, ba duba dop Ba du bop, ba duba dop Ba du bop, ba duba dop Ba du Mmm bop, ba duba dop Ba du bop, Ba du dop Ba du bop, Ba du dop Ba du In an mmm bop, they're gone Plant a seed, plant a flower, plant a rose You can plant any one of those Keep planting to find out which one grows It's a secret no one knows It's a secret no one knows No one knows Mmm bop, ba duba dop Ba du bop, ba duba dop Ba du bop, ba duba dop Ba du Mmm bop, ba duba dop Ba du bop, Ba du dop Ba du bop, Ba du dop Ba du In an mmm bop they're gone. In an mmm bop they're not there. In an mmm bop they're gone. In an mmm bop they're not there. Until you lose your hair. But you don't care. Mmm bop, ba duba dop Ba du bop, ba duba dop Ba du bop, ba duba dop Ba du Mmm bop, ba duba dop Ba du bop, Ba du dop Ba du bop, Ba du dop Ba du Can you tell me? Night came but you don't know. Can you tell me? You say you can but you don't know. Can you tell me which flower's going to grow? Can you tell me if it's going to be a daisy or a rose? Can you tell me which flower's going to grow? Can you tell me? You say you can but you don't know. You say you can but you don't know. You don't know You don't know Mmm bop Ba du bop Ba du bop Ba du Mmm bop Ba du bop Ba du bop Ba du Mmm bop, ba duba dop Ba du bop, ba duba dop Ba du bop, ba duba dop Ba du Mmm bop, ba duba dop Ba du bop, Ba du dop Ba du bop, Ba du dop Ba du Mmm bop, ba duba dop Ba du bop, ba duba dop Ba du bop, ba duba dop Ba du Mmm bop, ba duba dop Ba du bop, Ba du dop Ba du bop, Ba du dop Ba du
I swear I always thought that line was:
"Theres a warm blowin the stars around."
