This feels a little like one of those bold election-night calls. The returns are barely in. All sorts of things could still go wrong. But barring something completely unforeseen—a big "but," granted—I think it might be just about time to call the American economy for Tim Geithner.

Bush considered this and dropped it because the “if” was just too big. The reason for last fall’s one-time bailout was to give the banks lending money by means of a discreet, one-time contribution - as opposed to the unpredictable and limitless leech on our entire future in Timmy’s plan.

So millions of Americans out of work and millions more making wages half what they were 2 years ago?Okay Geithner can have that economy give ne back the one I had under Bush 3 years ago......

Geithner’s is only right for the ones who placed him in his current position, which are selected US. & foreign bankers who continue getting billions in tax-funded bailouts.
