What Fresh New Horror Comes Our Way?

...One Obama appointee after another hold views that have little relationship to reality despite their academic resumes. Steven Chu, the new Secretary of Energy, is on record saying the coal threatens the environment. Obama’s science advisor, John Holdren, in the 1980s was predicting massive famines because of global warming. It’s one thing to be wrong. It’s another to be wrong and to hold a high level government position.

Other advisors, those men and women who help set policy, are a frightening collection of dedicated socialists and totally loony environmentalists. His most recent proposed addition, Charles W. Freeman, as chairman of the National Intelligence Council has long, deep and money connections to the Saudis and openly professes to believe that Jews secretly run the world...

Yes, like Lenin, but with the paranoia of Stalin.

Paints a wonderful picture doesn’t it?

Coal does provide a huge portion of our electricity, I’m sure that’s why they’re picking on it.

Rush said the vote was racist and we know he’s correct. Racism is hate. And we’re tasting a big piece of it right now.

I’d get one of those FUBO stickers, but around here someone would torch my truck. With me in it.

He said we would not be allowed to use as much energy or drive SUVs, because the rest of the world doesn’t like our doing that.

He twists the truth with everything he says. That's why DOW drops most of the time he says something.

The rest of the world doesn’t like our driving SUVs and having fun because they are jealoust of the the Best Country in the World! Even though Obama says the U.S. sucks.

Yes, like Lenin, but with the paranoia of Stalin.

Paints a picture that seemingly wants to repeat history. People ignored Obama when he repeated gave us the finger just like they ignored past despots till too late.

And then they will be telling those of us who tried to warn them, “But I didn’t know, it’s not my fault.”

My response to those idiots will be “Oh? But it is your fault, stemming from your stupidity and it is our children who will pay for it.”

I wonder how the morons will react to that statement.

Three weeks after BHO’s inauguration a Dem told me she regretted voting for him and since then a few more have admitted it.

They turned against BO so fast all I can figure is they voted for the MSM’s candidate ala group-think. The rest who voted for him are rascist.

From the article:

On a daily basis, news from the Obama administration all points to a deliberate effort to impoverish Americans in general and harm the economic growth of energy industries on whom we all depend for oil, natural gas and coal. In the process, all other industries will suffer as well.

The formula is simple: no energy means no growth and, worse, threatens the very lives of Americans if we begin to lose a stable flow of electricity to our homes and businesses.

In less than three months, the Obama administration is turning out to be the worst nightmare for Americans who are mired in a financial crisis that, applying its proposed solutions, can only grow worse.

All I can do is repeat as often and as loudly as possible:

Elections have thousands of consequences. Some minor, some major...and some that can kill you. When, oh when, oh when will conservatives figure out that these communist monsters are their real political enemies, not mainstream Republicans.

I’ve lost count of how many states have declared sovereignty in defense against this psychotic administration.

They haven't declared anything. With, I believe, only one exception, all these state movements have resulted in week-kneed resolutions. Resolutions have ZERO legal effect and are nothing more than empty gestures. Let's start seeing the states pass laws to wean themselves off the federal tit; stop sending so much of their revenue to the feds; and take back law enforcement, land and resource management, and other things that should properly be controlled by the states, but which are currently in federal hands.

In other words, when this becomes a real movement with substantive state actions, then -- and only then -- will I believe in it. Until then, this is meaningless and a distraction.

The Second Coming

Turning and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.
Surely some revelation is at hand;
Surely the Second Coming is at hand.
The Second Coming! Hardly are those words out
When a vast image out of Spritus Mundi
Troubles my sight: somewhere in the sands of the desert
A shape with lion body and the head of a man,
A gaze blank and pitiless as the sun,
Is moving its slow thighs, while all about it
Reel shadows of the indignant desert birds.
The darkness drops again; but now I know
That twenty centuries of stony sleep
were vexed to nightmare by a rocking cradle,
And what rough beast, its hour come round at last,
Slouches towards Bethlehem to be born?
—W. B. Yeats

Supporters remaining with him will have to be under influence of some kind. Loyalty to an enemy usurper could only be due to promises of money, power, or property.

Hey, you guys have been asked to live a simpler life, closer to your work, and try to reduce your carbon footprint while living in “little smaller world”. (I can’t believe I just wrote that)
