I have nothing against the President drinking a beer, but I do think it is in bad taste to do so in such a public venue. He is President of the United States.

It’s not that I am a prude—far from it. There is a inherent dignity expected of the President of the United States regardless of who it is. Knocking back a few beers on a Friday night when all cameras are on him is not a way to show his respect for the office.
