Obama's eyes are nothing like the sun;
Karl is just as red as his lips' red;
His mom is white, why then he's a black man's son;
If hairs be wires, grey wires grow on his head.
I have seen Ayers unmasked, red and white,
As thorns on the roses in the stimulus he seeks;
And in some perfumes is there more delight
Than the cigarette breath that from the Messiah reeks.
I love to hear him speak, yet well I know
He'll talk our economy into the ground;
I grant I never saw a goddess go
but Sarah Palin, yet he falls far short of her;
And yet, by heaven, we're told he is as rare
As Reagan, who is belied with false compare!
I guess the country is Lucrece?
Excellent. You got mad skillz!
Your Obedient Servant,
The horse, the night, and the desert, they know me
And the sword, the spear, the paper, and pen
I am the one whose literature the blind can read
And whose words the deaf can hear
—Abu Tayyib al-Mutanabbi (it rhymes in Arabic...)
Now, the 0bama version:
The terrorists, the congressmen, the senators, they know me
And the Iranians, the Koreans, the Chinese, and the Syrians
I am The One who makes the blind see
And whose speeches make the deaf hear again
I think he was. He lived in the 10th century in Iraq.
To Sign or Not to Sign (more apologies to Shakespeare!)
To sign or not to sign this stimulus bill
What a silly question!
For surely tis nobler in the mind to let the peons suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous taxes
And to take arms against capitalism
And by opposing end it
To sign, to spend
And by spending we do end
The thousand points the Dow was up by; tis a fate
Devoutly to be wished; to sign, to spend
To spend, perhaps to tax; aye, that’s the ticket
For in that spending what delights may come;
When we have shuffled off this mortal coil
There’s the thought that our grandchildren
Would bear the whips and scorns of debt
The oppressor’s wrong, the corrupt man’s destruction
The pangs of despised taxes, the law’s oppression
The insolence of the office of the president
For taxpayers this heady task do take
Consider yourself highly commended.
Why thank you.
But I’m not a sir :)
My most abject apologies, I seem to make that mistake a lot.
(winces) (...or "Miss"?)
LOL, that’s ok :)
And it’s “miss”
