I recently ordered a gun (long rifle). Went down to pick it up today and was turned down. Puzzled - I purchased a new hand gun in December 08. Any thoughts??

Same thing happened with my husband on two consecutive gun buys before he got it straight. He had a 30 something year old record of illegal possession of a controlled substance or something like that. Took many phone calls, turned out he was charged with possession of beer on a Sunday in Atlanta.
*sigh*
